    Excellent review. It covered the grey nicely. It's like henna 'works' with the grey to embrace them! I use Desert Shadow Henna and it's lovely; makes the hair lovely. Great video, your hair looks lovely.

    You might get more deep coverage of your grey if you wrap it in plastic wrap after applying. Also, Lush recommends applying the Rouge color to grey hair first, then doing a second application of the darker hennas (like the marron, brun, or noir) over it to get those darker tones to "take" better. But I have used the marron over my whole head, wrapped in plastic and left for about 3 hours, and I love how it turns my greys into red highlights. I've also mixed marron and brun together in the bowl, but haven't noticed much difference in how the greys get covered.

    • @CorrieV
      @CorrieV  3 года назад

      Yeah I was unsure about the plastic wrap because Lush recommended you don't use plastic so the indigo can develop. Kinda confusing! I admire your experimentation with the product, I just do not have it in me to do it twice in a row hahahaha.

      Did you get some gray coverage doing just one application? I don’t have many grays yet, just want to blend them a little.

    Thanks so much for the review. I have never seen henna in this form, only the powder, It does remind me of a chocolate bar.lol. I love how it enhanced your hair, almost like highlights. Henna DOES fill in any "holes" in the hair shaft and is used in Ayurved and by Indians especially to cover greys. Blessings.

      I switched back to permanent dye cause I want the longer-term effects.

  • @milliem8051
    @milliem8051 3 года назад +1

    It looks nice but seems like a lot of work. I wanna try it, but I’m kinda lazy lol. I have some scattered grays, not too many yet, so I think it’d prob blend them enough but when I get more grays I’d probably prefer a chemical dye. I wish grays weren’t so difficult to cover!

      Yeah, I switched back to permanent hair dye now cause it's so much work and so messy. Fun to try though.

    Are you still using this? Did you ever redo your grey streak and hairline and how did it turn out? OR were you able to go back to regular hair dye? Or would you even want to if you love the results.

      @@CorrieV Hahaha 😂 I can't help you, I am sorry, I'm a mess!!! 🥺 I am a former red (natural) with silver turning into white roots! Had too many health scares to want to use dye, but henna (which looks so beautifully natural on blondes and brunettes, unfortunately cannot be used easily on greying reds! UNLESS, unless they go brunette and it has indigo in it! You are a lovely brunette, but I am not! 🥺

    • @CorrieV

      I've henna'd over dyed brown hair and dyed my henna'd hair brown. It's been fine, but I would maybe patch test first to make sure there is no weird chemical reactions.
