Woohoo! Glad I found y’all channel! I shuttled you to Chica and Sunsets. Looking forward to watching the rest of your journey!
Happy Trails!
Thanks Steph!!
Nice! I hiked the AT in 2015 and 2016. Will be near Roan Mountain in a week. Going to go out for 5 days and then stay at the Mountain Harbour B&B there. They have THE best breakfast on the whole trail hands down. DO NOT SKIP. I repeat DO NOT SKIP.
Also, if you have any questions I’m here for you guys.
Breakfast is my preferred meal so you better believe they are on our list!!!!!
Thanks for the recommendation. Let us know of any other must stops on the trail!
Loved hanging out with yal! Looking forward to seeing you down the trail!
Heard about you both through BlueHatHiker's vlogs! Looking forward to watching more
That’s awesome! Thanks for tuning in!!
Glad to have found your channel! Good luck!
I’ve seen so many trail starting videos and you are both the most likely to make it to Maine this year that I’ve seen. I’m a few days behind you. I’m from Florida and leave march 2nd. Let’s go class of 2023!
Thanks Jewel!! Hope we see you out here
Doing good! Only 2k+ miles to go. 😬👍
Woohoo Go Katie and Patrick! Take care you guys 🥰
Such a joy to see you two back out on the trail. Thank you for sharing your journey. I’ll be looking forward to each weekly update. Katie’s Dad is a star!!
Thanks Kevin! Can’t wait to see you further up the trail!!
What a great start!
Great job, y’all are doing great! Take one day at a time, and embrace the suck. Way to not start out too far too fast. Let your bodies get used to the grind, and before you know it you’ll have your trail legs. Then you’ll cruise!!

We’re loving every minute! Thanks for the great advice Papa Dump ✌🏻
Before you send back the inflatable sleep pad, try sleeping on the foam pad first. Some folks don’t like the feel of that directly on your back/side.
Y’all are doing great! Awesome to meet you at trail magic today!
Yes good point! We’ll give it a try a few nights and decide! I’m sure we’ll meet along the trail again!!
Looking forward to following you both to Maine. Would love to know more about you two. My hubby and I are following a few through hikers class of 2023 northbound hikes: Stella hikes, couch to trail, Jeff and Maila, RNTUL explores, Badbathikes… obviously we love watching the journey. We are hikers ourselves but only day or weekend hikers. Hike on! 🌲🥾🥾❤️🥾🥾🌲
Thanks Beth! See if you can peep us in one of RNTUL videos this week
Yes!!! We saw you in the shuttle. 😉Gotta love RNTUL!
Wow - snow on day 1! I (Chica) have the same sleeping pad as you both (sea to summit) and I love mine so far - how do y’all like yours? I love the ease of “blowing” it up and deflating it! So great meeting you both and having you at our hostel. Hike on! -- Chica
Yes it was lovely getting to know you guys! We’re both happy with our sleeping pad choices. Deceiver has even managed to get some good side sleeping in on it!
Good vibes your way! Take care, Crackerjack.
Thanks for posting! Beautiful shots.
Thanks for watching!
First hiker that had a decent camera. Waterfalls pictures should be great on the AT.
The camera was a must-have luxury item but it has been well worth it!! Thanks for watching!
Keep going! 💪🔥
yay :)
Y’all haven’t done an intro video or introduced yourselves. Could you tell us your names and where you’re from? Thanks in advance.
