The funny thing is that the creator has said that the kids on the Cul-de-Sac being the only people who are shown is suppose to remind viewers of Summer Break. There are no adults because they're all at work. Things are anachronistic (no video games or cell phones) because it's suppose to be understood that they're on Summer Break even to your parents and grandparents. It's sort of like the actual explanation for where Red/Ash's dad is in Pokemon: he's a SalaryMan. He's just away at work all the time and you're doing your adventuring in the summer.
That was my understanding too. There was even an episode where summer vacation was ending and it was close to fall but Eddy didn't want to go back to school, so he fooled everyone into believing it was still summer vacation. Then everybody freaked out when Edd told them that school was supposed to start the next day.
Well I figured that they wouldn't have cell phones because all of them are probably too young to have them. But it's definitely odd that there are no video games, not even arcade machines. Summer break's the one time of the year you _would_ expect kids to be playing video games all day. Just think of how many times the Eds complain about being bored and having nothing to do in-between scams. I bet they wouldn't be saying that if they had video games to play in their spare time.
@@alchemistofsteel8099 I try not to mix lore between the different shows. The good thing about EEnE is that it still holds up even by today's standards. The jokes never get old or unfunny. It truly is one of CN's most timeless shows. I think EEnE is one of the only shows to stay consistent quality wise throughout it's long run, even towards it's end since it feels like it has a beginning middle and end. It felt so good to be there every moment it aired in my youth and remember everything about it. In contrast to shows that have a nostalgia fact that, when watched again becomes incredibly "Oh God why did I like this?" EEnE is still enjoyable today.

I think he also became king because he answered the riddle of the sphinx, which was "What walks on 4 legs in the morning, 2 legs in the afternoon, and 3 legs in the evening, the answer of course being man. I might have that wrong though
I didn't have a Plank as a kid. I never really liked Ed, Edd n' Eddy, and when I did try to watch it, I just forgot about it the second after it ended. I did, however, have a lot of imaginary friends. I was an autistic child, and had no social skills. I didn't know how to make friends, so I made some imaginary ones. I talked to my stuffed animals, quarters I received from the Tooth Fairy, random objects I found on the ground, et cetera.
I've said that joke for years, took Greek Mythology in college, and just finally put two-and-two together....I can't believe that I never caught that earlier!
sprtsfanatic1 that's not all the show got away with there was an episode with double D said that they can't get sisters for getting amorous which could mean sexual aroused or intimate
"You can't get sisters for getting amorous" Not exactly sure what he meant by that. Then again, I barely watched this show, and barely remember any of it.
Say, what if Ed actually IS an oedipus? I mean, we've never seen their parents. It's possible Ed is just making up stories about his father's existence, because he doesn't want to admit that he murdered him. And it's possible that Sarah is not actually Ed's sister, but his daughter, whom he conceived having sex with his mother. He's always nice to her, because he knows he's her father, and so figures that means he should love her and take care of her. But he spoiled Sarah a little too much when she was younger, and she started taking advantage of him.
My parents and sisters hated to see me watch this show. But for the past 15 years I have not given a single shit about what their thoughts on it are, and this show still remains my absolute favorite show of all time!
Oedipus did not kill his father so he could sleep with his mom on purpose. His parents abandoned him, as a baby, because it was predicted their son would grow up to kill his father and have children with his mother. He grew up with an adoptive family and killed a man on the way to the nearby kingdom and found out it was the king. Eventually he took the throne, married the queen, and had some kids. It was later revealed that the man he killed was his father and he married his mom. Upon said discovery, he stabbed his own eyes out and banished himself from his home for eternity.
This was indeed my first and favorite show as a kid. I remember waking up every morning before school to watch this show and waiting for a new episode to air on Cartoon Cartoon Friday's. Ed, Edd and Eddy was always the show I looked forward to seeing everyday. Great review. I look forward to seeing more of your reviews like I would for a new episode of Ed Edd and Eddy.
Cartoon cartoons MADE CARTOON NETWORK! Hand drawn animation> this digital regular show shit. Cartoon network only has the looney tunes show left, adventure time isn't even a comedy anymore and regular show has gotten stale. Gumball is OK. I want more cartoon cartoons, hopefully the new president gives us new ones and gives us back stuff like I AM WEASEl,courage the cowardly dog.
Gregory Bowman not really,it was originally silly and fully of jokes and weird stuff. Now it's a drama, not an adventure at all. There is nop adventuring for finn anymore, the last episode was about lemonhope, and it was SOOOOOO boring, liek they had no ideas left. Lemonhope fells guilty about not saving the lemon people, then he does save them....TEH END.....no content, nothing funny, just boring shit.
This show was something else, it was great. And while I'm sad that there hasn't been anything new regarding this show on Cartoon Network, maybe that's a good thing. EEnE ran for 10 years; it had consistently good quality throughout its run, and it had a movie that ties everything up nicely. Maybe instead of wanting new EEnE episodes, we should honor the show by remembering how awesome it was and by showing it to the younger generation.
Exactly! The movie was a perfect end. I think its best EEnE is left alone so we can enjoy the classic nostalgia cartoon. If they try to recreate it'll be complete haywire.. Like the Looney Tunes show and Teen Titans Go!
this was basically one of the first if not the first tv show i have seen and i loved it so much to a point where my parents were making sure i wasnt missing any episodes of ed edd n eddy
I'll explain this latin american situation to you, RebelTaxi. You see, in most of Latin america, it was kind of acceptable in the early 90's to be hit by your own parents for doing something wrong. The most common objects were shoes, sandals, and even belts. It was a common type of punishment, and wasn't considered child abuse. This is why this joke works so well when dubbed in spanish.
I got a wooden spoon or a belt occasionally. I have sensitive skin so even the lightest tap left a red bruise. That was in my home country though, but the trauma follows you :3
John Cheese More like damn pampered Caucasian kids. Physical discipline has not left the culture of the majority of ethnicities. You just have to do it where white peoples aren't watching.
oh plank, I still have one somewhere in my room, it's become my portal to my childhood. It's just been something that no matter how old I get, I never feel I've gotten too old for
Dude, you did an amazing job on that one CN City themed "bumper" that you made where you talked about the upcoming videos before the outro, at 6:25 . It really gave me some nostalgic feels.
i like that "bumper" you did at the end, telling us what videos are coming next. and how it was done similarly to old cartoon network bumpers. i'd like to see that in every video
The Halloween Special is my all time favorite. It had the best animation, it delves into their life outside the cul-de-sac, and it's so goddamn hilarious. This show premiered on my third birthday, so it's basically the greatest birthday present of all time. Goddammit, nostalgia
the episode when rolfe challenges and smacks eddy with the fish in that duel is brutally realistic...usually the show is fun and funy...that episode made the violence seem painful on another level...
Hey, here's a thought: What if Ed really DID do as Oedipus did? You know how in the episode, Little Ed Blue, Ed got a rock in his shoe, and basically turned into a psychopath? Well, maybe that happened once before, about six or seven years before the first episode. So Ed got a rock in his shoe, and had uncontrollable anger issues. His dad told him to eat his vegetables, and Ed murdered him, and buried him in the backyard. Then his mom tried to calm him down, and Ed raped her, causing her to get pregnant with Sarah (Hey, I've heard stories about little girls getting pregnant after their dads raped them; this is basically the reverse of this) Sarah was born, and a DNA test confirmed that Ed was the father. Thus, Ed figured he should love and take care of Sarah, just like any other father. But being a kid, and a dumb kid at that, Ed was not a competent parent. He treated Sarah exactly how he, himself, wanted to be treated as a kid. He let her eat all the junk food she wanted, let her stay up late watching television, et cetera. Fortunately, Ed's mom managed to keep Sarah in check, but that didn't stop her from becoming incredibly spoiled, and she started to take advantage of Ed. Ed and Sarah's mom also gave her two kids a warning: When Ed is in public, he is to pretend Sarah is just his sister. Sarah too; she might have called Ed "Dad" or "Daddy" at home, but she was told to call him "Ed" in public. Not wanting to admit that he murdered his father, and being too young and innocent to know about divorce, Ed lied about his dad still existing, and convinced Sarah to go along with it too.
I can watch Ed Edd and Eddy and Courage the Cowardly Dog all day and they wouldn't get old. Man I'm glad that I was raised on the original Cartoon Cartoons.
i think my favorite episode is where the edds are trapped in Johnny 2x4 wall, they have to tell him how they got there, and we are treated to a a story told in different parts by each ed. each story shows how they precieve themselves and the world around them. Edd thinks he superior and nice while eddy is greedy, but ed thinks everyone loves him and Ed's is well just plain silly
After seeing this I went on a Danny Antonucci spree for like an hour out of curiousity, watching the interview/ other cartoons he made that you showcased in this video. It's one of the weirdest feelings to uncover so many dark and strange things years later about someone or something you particularly overlooked as a child. Almost a little scary.
My favorite Ed, Edd, n Eddy episode is a fatal-4-way way tie. Between 1.Ed is a Halfshell: The episode where Sarah is at ballet practice and the Ed's are supposed to watch Jimmy and Eddy turns him into a miniature, smarter, version of himself. The two part episode 2.Fistful of Ed: where Double D is accidently hurting everyone in his path, including one of the Kankers. 3.If It Smells Like an Ed: where the Eds are blamed for a series of wrong deeds and they have to find the real culprit. *I'm not spoiling the ending for those who haven't seen it.* 4. The Valentines special: Hanky Panky Hullabaloo": It was slightly funny, and had one of the most unexpected couplings in the series "Edd (Double D) and May Kanker." It was interesting had a somewhat funny ending, and left everyone guessing. Is Double D really considering hooking up with May? See the end of the episode and you'll know why some people still wonder about that. But those 4 are my favorite Ed, Edd, n Eddy episodes and I can't decide on 1 clear favorite between them. Sorry I'm posting all 4.
Actually 5. I'd forgotten about Who let the Ed In? The episode with Ed's imaginary friend Jib. And how Eddy got an invisible ass-woopin. Only for the episode end with Eddy turning the tables on Ed himself.
I love the commercials at the end, and the songs you play. So much nostalgia, I need to watch this show again. Like, every episode. Great video as always, looking forward to part 2.
Lol. I would- I had a problem with coming up with an ending. A friend of mine gave me a couple suggestions, but around the time he did I sort of gave up on fanfiction, and was concentrating on my own ORIGINAL stuff. I could try it again later. I'd still have to decide which of the two endings to go for (One of them was, of course, the kankers coming and giving THEIR gifts of kisses which freaks them out and causes them to reveal that they're still alive.)
Well, the story started with Edd reading a book on egypt and stuff, and Eddy finds out about all these cultures that bury their dead with gifts and stuff.
Actually, I remember an old CN commercial when they brough tthat up! For whatever reason Ed was hanging out with Daphne from Scooby Doo, and when Ed brings up Double-Dee, Daphne looks down at her own chest and says something like "How am I supposed to compete with that?!"
In the SuperMarioLogan episode: Bowser Junior Gets Sick, Cody's mom says she wants double Ds. I made a joke about that in the comments section, Ed is watching that video, and he calls Double D saying that some Sesame Street lady wants to see him.
In one of my comics there is a chapter where the Eds visit South Park, and Kenny gets a good chuckle about Double D's name, to which Double D responds: "Well, aren't you mature? Sorry to burst your bubble, little boy, but finding amusement over a woman's private parts does not render you "grown up. In fact, mature adults do not find such things the slightest bit amusing." Then Randy laughs. Double D hides inside his hat.
This series was my childhood fantasy. Just hanging out with friends on summer vacation. I didn't have any friends growing up, and my folks moved us out to the middle of nowhere.
Ed Edd n Eddy(Jan 4,1999-Nov 8 2009) with always be my favorite cartoon of all time. The day it ended was the day that Cartoon Network was never the same.
4:48 was the reason i was afraid of looking at credits of ANY show, it scared me really hard and since my t.v wasnt HD at the time, i looked it up on the computer to get a closer view and i cried.
I personally place Ed Edd n' Eddy up there in my top 5 Cartoon Network shows ever next to Billy and Mandy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, and Powerpuff Girls. [not in that exact order]
i honestly liked the show alot, it was at a time where 9/11 happened when I realized how awesome the show was. I live nearby the towers and so was my school, the area was so contaminated with dust that I had to stay with my grandma outside the area, and school was cancelled for a while. Every channel's news cycle was just reliving the same moments I'd seen in real life and I couldn't take it anymore, so I popped on some toons and watched every episode marathon that was on tv, my favorite being ed edd and eddy. It was honestly so out of the norm it made me forget that shit sucked. I'm 20 now but I still remember afterwards going out to the nearby playground with the sirens in the background, just pretending that I was kicking it in the culdesac just trying to find quarters so I could buy batteries for my gameboy advance.
For those curious, this is about what is inside Edd´s hat. Back then there was a game on the CN website where you had to save all the CN chars on an island or something, when you got to talk with one of the chars ( i think i twas Bubbles ) she refered as Edd as a "guy with lines on his head" or something like that.
Hey guys, remember that Flash game on the old cartoon network site? To the Ed-Streme? The one where the Eds are skateboarding? That was the fuckin' best.
When I was younger, after seeing the episode showing Planks family I went and made drawings of Plank with his parents. Made a big paper cutout of them and decorated it, my mom put it up on our fridge.
If I remember right the last episode was like a movie right? I still remember how sad I was when I heard that they would stop making episodes for this show.
Best show ever. I always had a favor for Ed. He's got the strength of the Hulk, which must be hereditary since his sister apparently has it too, but he's just so dumb and happy go lucky. Really, I was upset as none other would be when I found out that the show was ending, but it had a good run. We laughed, we cried, we WTF'd more than occasionally, but isn't that just the beauty of Ed, Edd n' Eddy?
The best thing about this show I think was how genuine it could be. It didn't really comment on it, but it does show how kids interact when there are no adults around. Sometimes it was an awful, brutal, Lord of the Flies type scenario, but I think overall the tone was more optimistic. The crazy thing is, Double D and Kevin could've absolutely been friends, if the Edds had been ditched (they are by NO means real friends--they only hang out from necessity) and if they had gotten to know each other a little more. One of my favorite scenes from the series (and one of the most memorable) is when Double D helps Kevin work on his bike. Also I love that AT clip, it perfectly sums up how I feel about the Kankers. :P
One of the reasons I like EEnE so much is that, when I was a kid, me and my two best friends pretty much WERE Ed, Edd, n Eddy. I was the leader, full of hair-brained ideas and quests, one friend was a super-genius, and another liked to act really stupid and crazy. Together, we were a classic band of misfits, spending all our time together coming up with the most outrageous schemes and inventing imaginative stories and TV shows. They were good times.
Oedipus didn't kill his father to have sex with his mother. When he was born a prophecy foretold he would murder his father and marry his mother, so his birth father had him abandoned in the wild, where a shepherd from a nearby kingdom found him and brought him to the king and queen of the neighboring kingdom to raise as their own. Then when Oedipus grew up the oracle told him the same prophecy that he would kill his father and marry his mother so him not knowing that he was adopted decided to not go home and wander around Greece when he got into a fight with a nobleman whom he preceded to kill and eventually whose kingdom he inherited after answering a riddle to lift the plague set upon the kingdom. The fact that the nobleman he killed was his father and the fact he ended up having children with his mother caused him to stab out his eyes in shame. So I don't think you can argue it was intentional when he slept with his mother.
2:29- all time favorite, well it's a stretch because I can name a good 10 that come close, but if I had to pick one, it's totally "honor thy Ed" when the Eds get tricked into going into a haunted house, get separated and ends with a forced marriage with the Kanker Sisters. It just had so many great gags and so many awesome jokes that it has to be my favorite! XD
the whole purgatory thing is fake because if plank has rolfs soul then why is rolf there. but plank is very aggressive to everyone so maybe the evil part of rolf went to rolf and the good part is the rolf we see? my head hurts from that *head explodes*
This was my all time favorite show growing up. Kids Next Door and Billy and Mandy were close 2nd and 3rd, but there is this charm that comes from watching Ed, Edd, n Eddy. I was just watching it on Boomerang a couple nights ago, and the episodes still had me laughing hard at age 19, even caught some jokes I didn't get as a kid. Thanks for the 100 videos Rebel, and I enjoy the bumpers of Cartoon Network City at the end too, they were THE best bumpers CN ever had.
This show is literally my childhood back when I lived in a neighborhood. No joke. Going on adventures and getting into trouble. Ice cream trucks were very special to chase to. There were like the Eds jawbreakers in my own world.
I remember back when I had CN on my TV. They rarely broadacasted the first season but when they did, it was like a miracle. When they put "Dawn of the Eds" on, I started crying of happiness.
Stuff like this and the nostalgia is the reason I subbed to this channel and I love it. Seeing this stuff now that I am 20 brings back alot of memories.
The episode I remember the most was the one in which the Ed's get framed for ruining friendship day. At the end of the episode it turns out Jimmy was behind it and the Ed's still get blamed for it. That kind of upset me as a kid.
Ed Edd n Eddy this that kind of show that makes me feel like kid again every time i watch it. And favorite episode is Robin ed its funny episode thats relatable because we all done something like this
I adored this show as a kid. But it was one of those shows where my parents couldn't sit through the innuendos I constantly missed, so I had to sneak it in. Double D was always my favourite.
See this cartoon, along with KND, Billy and Mandy, Fosters and Courage was my drug. Everyday I come home from school tired, and then these shows take the pain and crush it down to nothing. Even now I'm older, yet these and other CN retro shows hit me in a place inside me that I will always remember.
2:25- the person who wrote the purgatory conspiracy thing said that the Kankers were simply demons bent on inflicting torment and pain onto the neighborhood kids.
ed edd n eddy will always be my favorite cartoon and i watched a hell of alot of cartoons, also there was a scene during the later season were you could see eddy dad and ed mom but it was only there hand tho
Ah yes, one of my personal favorite animated shows of all time, congrats on making to 100 videos dude. Also, I did not know that Oedipus joke until I saw this video, I can't believe they got away with that.
I managed to be able to watch a rerun about a week ago, and I didn't notice that my mom sat next to me on the couch until she started laughing along with me. She liked it, to my surprise XD

I think my favorite episode is where they make their own company, meanwhile Ed is building a giant elevator.
+Deja Drew I was thinking about that episode earlier. The company was called 'Up' I think and they were a non-profit organisation
my favorite episode is when becomes a monster and tries eating everyone
I loved that one, I couldn't stop laughing when I realized it went all the way to the damn moon.
+Deja Drew I think that episode is called They Call Him Mr. Ed.
My favorites are probably "Scrambled Ed" and the one when they try to scam people with crappy bikes.
Ed Edd n Eddy was my childhood. Cliche to say, but this show made up a huge chunk of my sense of humor growing up.

This show was my religion

My favorite episode is that one and the one where they glue a block of wood to Johnny's foot and then use him to annoy the rest of the kids for money.
"the shoe my dad hits me with"
I guess that's where he got THE ALMIGHTY THREE SHOE BEATING!
Poor Rolf. I feel so sorry for him. My dad hits me with a belt sometimes.

Since you bring up the latin american dub I remember one episode where Rolf just said "Oigan Edd amigos, Mi carne necesita sol y sexo" that translates to "Hey Edd boys, My flesh needs Sun and Sex!" I just lost it in that episode, I mean, HOW?!
Ed Edd n' Eddy Latino dub: Not for kids.
6:00 I'm mexican and at the inflatable ride episode Rolf said: "My flesh needs sun and sex" i think this is why us mexicans have kids at 16 lol
I caught you red-handed Mcluvin!!
El Jefe No, he said the thing with the shoe.
My favorite episode is when Ed thinks his a real monster and sticks all the kids to a wall with chewed up Chunkey Puffs
I'm right there with you on "The day the Ed Stood Still". Never provide a socially detached adolescent with the means to realize his power.
"Stuck the kids to a wall" I think you mean he ate them.
I was 5 when I watched this. After a while, my mom wouldn't let me watch it. She thought it was influencing me. Ha! Well look at me now.......*cries*

and his mother threw herself off a balcony, killing herself, when she found out.

I did, however, have a lot of imaginary friends. I was an autistic child, and had no social skills. I didn't know how to make friends, so I made some imaginary ones. I talked to my stuffed animals, quarters I received from the Tooth Fairy, random objects I found on the ground, et cetera.
Man whoever added that Oedipus joke needs to face Rolf's hat of discipline
"tricked me into admitting I wanted to commit incest"
so you wanted to the whole time?
I can see it now rebel taxi president of CN ruling with a iron fist by his ways and his word
at the mexican dub, there was a scene where rolf says "my body needs sun and sex"
Oedipus did it by accident.
Historically accurate
+Andrew Addams This show is why I even know about that story.
+Luna D (MoonlightMillennium) You didn't have Greek myths at school where you live?
prospectus Not really. We briefly discussed Greek Gods in 6th grade History, but that's it. XD
He doesn't knew he killed his father and have 4 sons with her mother ( if you don't understand, it's because I speak spanish :P)
legend says RebelTaxi can stuff his entire forearm into his mouth from practicing on loliepops
I watched this show alongside Cow & Chicken and I.M. Weasel.
Those were crazy childhood days.
Don't forget Batman Beyond. :3
***** Adventure time was really never a comedy but more of a Adventure Show
Gregory Bowman not really,it was originally silly and fully of jokes and weird stuff.
NovemberCrystal Don't forget Batman Beyond. :]
I'M AN ANGEL STAAAAAHP!
He means the drug, not the actual religious angel
The way you wrote it, it sounds like Cartman, from South Park, is saying it.
Agree the movie I thought was the Prefect ending to this show.
Exactly!
The movie was a perfect end.
I think its best EEnE is left alone so we can enjoy the classic nostalgia cartoon.
If they try to recreate it'll be complete haywire.. Like the Looney Tunes show and Teen Titans Go!
millieman76 I liked the Looney Toons Show.
this was basically one of the first if not the first tv show i have seen and i loved it so much to a point where my parents were making sure i wasnt missing any episodes of ed edd n eddy
"Damn pampered 'murican kids!"
Not just latin america...
Oda Swifteye I'm Caucasian, even if I live in Latin America. And yes, I've been smacked by a sandal as a child.
oh plank, I still have one somewhere in my room, it's become my portal to my childhood.
Will you talk about what's under Edd's hat?
It's necessary I bring up that mystery
RebelTaxi It indeed is. What do you think is under his hat?
RebelTaxi is this your favorite show on cartoon network?
+James Waterson his hair of course
+Princess Strickland But, does he even has?? We may never know...
The Halloween Special is my all time favorite. It had the best animation, it delves into their life outside the cul-de-sac, and it's so goddamn hilarious. This show premiered on my third birthday, so it's basically the greatest birthday present of all time. Goddammit, nostalgia
Ed, Edd 'N Eddy: tricking kids into admitting to commit incest since 1999.
Brainstormer623 1999*
the episode when rolfe challenges and smacks eddy with the fish in that duel is brutally realistic...usually the show is fun and funy...that episode made the violence seem painful on another level...
Then his mom tried to calm him down, and Ed raped her, causing her to get pregnant with Sarah (Hey, I've heard stories about little girls getting pregnant after their dads raped them; this is basically the reverse of this)
Sarah was born, and a DNA test confirmed that Ed was the father.
@@isobelmiller7464 …….what the fuck……..
@@Oliviagarry69420 Just joking around.
I actually had a fanfic idea where the eds fake their own deaths to get the others to give them gifts at their wake.
I suppose that would make sense, but I've never heard of people bringing gifts to a wake. Like...ever.
Well, the story started with Edd reading a book on egypt and stuff, and Eddy finds out about all these cultures that bury their dead with gifts and stuff.
Martin Gray They actually die, how about that for an ending?
superdude200ify Nah, I couldn't do THAT... XD
For whatever reason, watching this as a kid made me act like I was on cocaine. It was the bane of my teachers' existence.
I'm really surprised you didn't make a joke involving Edd's nickname and the bra size. (Double D)
Actually, I remember an old CN commercial when they brough tthat up! For whatever reason Ed was hanging out with Daphne from Scooby Doo, and when Ed brings up Double-Dee, Daphne looks down at her own chest and says something like "How am I supposed to compete with that?!"
Michael Welsh Toon Dates is what you are remembering.
DigitalZ that's what deviantart and 4chan is for my friend
Plank actually is alive, in the episode when they turned that house into a sauna plank tells him that the edds wrecked the inside of his house
Ed Edd n Eddy's Jingle Jingle Jangle was one of my favorite Christmas specials
Ed Edd n Eddy(Jan 4,1999-Nov 8 2009) with always be my favorite cartoon of all time. The day it ended was the day that Cartoon Network was never the same.
Cartoon Network was never the same when that CN Live bs came around stfu
+Tomayah mayo
At least CN was able to recover from that with some mess ups.
4:48 was the reason i was afraid of looking at credits of ANY show, it scared me really hard and since my t.v wasnt HD at the time, i looked it up on the computer to get a closer view and i cried.
oMG that Plank song.
I remember feeling old when that was new.
Man, where does all that time even go?
Yeah I remember that
Hey guys, remember that Flash game on the old cartoon network site? To the Ed-Streme? The one where the Eds are skateboarding? That was the fuckin' best.
All their games were awesome, still play the foodfight one to this day lol >=)
When I was younger, after seeing the episode showing Planks family I went and made drawings of Plank with his parents. Made a big paper cutout of them and decorated it, my mom put it up on our fridge.
If I remember right the last episode was like a movie right? I still remember how sad I was when I heard that they would stop making episodes for this show.
***** Where does the xmas special fit in?
***** I completely agree with you there
Thank you Pan Pizza for taking me back to my childhood with your videos. I almost forgot how Cartoon Network was back then, it's so nostalgic.
That was the most beautiful analogy I have ever laid my eyes upon.
Gratzi Grande. It helps that it comin directly from the soul, if ya know what I mean.
Just the bumps for the commercials were awesome back then
Nostalgia runs deep on those bumps.
"...flew higher than the shoe my dad USED to hit me with"
^ Proper translation, but you were pretty close RT.
You mean Pan Pizza?
Everday a mexican child lives in fear of a magical tool called ''la chancla''
Diana Mungaray Don't forget la chancla's cousins, "la escoba" and "el cinto"
Ahhh memories man.
MY FAVORITE TV SHOW
ugh! I can't stand the nostalgia your hitting me with by showing those old-school cartoon network commercial. I miss old CN T-T
This show was my favorite thing ever back then.. My favorite now is Regular Show, probably because it reminds me so much of it.
in what way is Regular Show similar to Ed Edd & Eddy? one is about today's flawed youth, and the other is about kid's madness
***** Can't the flaw be madness?
That van episode was THE REASON my first vehicle was a van. I intended to have a couch instead of a bed, though.
RebelTaxi should be our next president
2:29- all time favorite, well it's a stretch because I can name a good 10 that come close, but if I had to pick one, it's totally "honor thy Ed" when the Eds get tricked into going into a haunted house, get separated and ends with a forced marriage with the Kanker Sisters. It just had so many great gags and so many awesome jokes that it has to be my favorite! XD
"only 13 humans"
14 if you count eddys brother.
That was in the movie
it counts
***** well,witches are humans too
well,unless their hellspawn/undead
*shudders*
the whole purgatory thing is fake because if plank has rolfs soul then why is rolf there. but plank is very aggressive to everyone so maybe the evil part of rolf went to rolf and the good part is the rolf we see? my head hurts from that *head explodes*
Wait, there were only 12 humans and Eddy's brother makes 13.
**Rick Rolled** I thought this video was released today not 2010.
0:58-I love how Ed is the only one of the Ed Boys to have the most and best memorable lines in the series(Oh,No!, My Brain Came Out)
This show is literally my childhood back when I lived in a neighborhood. No joke. Going on adventures and getting into trouble. Ice cream trucks were very special to chase to. There were like the Eds jawbreakers in my own world.
Rebeltaxi, the presentation in your videos is always top notch (as well as the humour/delivery)! Keep up the good job.
I remember back when I had CN on my TV. They rarely broadacasted the first season but when they did, it was like a miracle. When they put "Dawn of the Eds" on, I started crying of happiness.
Man the nostalgia and nice touch with the old bumper ending. God those were the days
I always wondered why my cousins weren't allowed to watch this show.
God... Damn. All the nostalgic feels.
It's all coming back to me.
My mom use to not like me watching this as well as Billy and Mandy (that one more understandable) , and i honestly can't understand why .
This was one of the major pillars forming my sense of humor into adulthood, the others being The Simpsons and Strong Bad Emails.
3:13 I think you have been spending a little too much time with Zone-Tan
Old Cartoon Network defined my childhood. Total Drama Island, Codename Kids Next Door, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly dog and so much more.
OH MY GOD!, I cant believe you used the mexican dub, So many memories :,D
See this cartoon, along with KND, Billy and Mandy, Fosters and Courage was my drug. Everyday I come home from school tired, and then these shows take the pain and crush it down to nothing. Even now I'm older, yet these and other CN retro shows hit me in a place inside me that I will always remember.
6:03 and considering the english line was "Double D flew faster than my father's shoe on bad night".
2:25- the person who wrote the purgatory conspiracy thing said that the Kankers were simply demons bent on inflicting torment and pain onto the neighborhood kids.
i just had a nostalgia heart attack when I heard "my best friend plank"
ed edd n eddy will always be my favorite cartoon and i watched a hell of alot of cartoons, also there was a scene during the later season were you could see eddy dad and ed mom but it was only there hand tho
Ah yes, one of my personal favorite animated shows of all time, congrats on making to 100 videos dude. Also, I did not know that Oedipus joke until I saw this video, I can't believe they got away with that.
I remember watching this show as a kid. I also remember watching it on Friday nights, holidays, and special moments.
one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows ever and that is Ed Edd N Eddy
I managed to be able to watch a rerun about a week ago, and I didn't notice that my mom sat next to me on the couch until she started laughing along with me. She liked it, to my surprise XD
