*Rhythm of War spoilers* This makes me think about Dalinar wielding Nightblood. Would he be able to survive Nightblood's essence-draining indefinitely by chain-summoning Perdendiularities? If he did, how long would it take for Nightblood to get "full" and "sleepy" from all that Stormlight (like it did at the end of Oathbringer)? Would a "sated" Nightblood still be able to turn virtually anything to dust and black smoke, or would it just act like a regular sword at that point? Would Dalinar with Nightblood or Taln with your proposed "Super Honorblade" be more dangerous? Dang, you really got my gears turning now.
I absolutely love your channel, not only are you dissecting my favorite series, but you do such a fine job of analyzing themes in stories and I love it
No...no foreshadow, poor story ending,no lessons learnt, defeats the purpose of taln having stood against torture for 4 millenia...i think taln should have a meaningful glorious ending.
I wonder, since the ten Honorblades are pieces of Honor, what kind of implications would that have to combine them together? Maybe some essence of Honor returns to the world, or at least enough for it to aid the Radiants against Odium. That'd be interesting,.
Great video. I think there will be many more honorblades or another way to become surgebinding since in era 4 the powers will be much more common, it had not occurred to me about the super honorblade
The windrunner knights trained with the honorblade while Kaladin was away at Hearthstone, right? They didn't seem to manifest any other powers but maybe because they weren't Radiants at that point? Wasn't that Taln's blade? I think Ba Ado Mishram is at the center of it. If she is restored will the Heralds heal and be sane again? I agree that combining all 10 honorblads seems like an awesome idea, maybe Dalinar could use them to defeat Terodium. He's scary.
Given the story's theme of the dangers of unchecked power it is doubtful to me that the ultimate resolution would be for the good guys to create a massive super nuke. That would be like using the one ring to defeat sauron.
@@HarshReviews The basic idea is that before his "death" he somehow Connected himself to the Oathpact and became a semi-herald. So when he "died" his soul went to Braize where he soon broke (probably without torture but I'm not sure yet) and then BOOM, Desolation starts.
Great video man, but would be cool if you had a warning of spoilers before saying that about the spren at the beginning. pd: love your videos keep it up
@@HarshReviews Nah don't worry, I'm up to date with the books, I think I didn't notice the spoiler warning because you started speaking a few seconds after, my bad Pd: would be cool if you talked about every order of the knights each one is so unique Pd2: sorry for any inconvenience man xd
You said that the honor blades and the heralds all have parts of honor in them, what if the honor blades and the heralds mix back the parts of honor creating the full shard, then dalinar gets a hold of the honor shard
the honor blades are made of tanavastium but do not have tanavasts soul in them. the surges existed before the honor blades. the surges are fundamental aspects of the cosmere and not related to honor. unrestricted use of the surges is what destroyed ashyn
You'd only need 5 blades to make a 10 surge weapon.

Nightblood is my new favorite sword

My theory- Taln will be chosen odium's champion against Dalinar and Dalinar will weild the ten combined honor blades.
Ohhhhh that could be possible too! Though Taln is such a perfect embodiment of Honor I don’t want that to happen. Thanks for the comment!

Dalinar made an oath to the storm father to never use a shardblade
@@cruizgarratt4843 shouldn’t stop Dalinar from using honor blades, they aren’t dead eye Spren.
I. have the sane teorie
Unite them… honor wants dalinar to unite the honorblades in order to create the shard of honor for him to take the shard and become honor…. MIND BLOWN

@@HarshReviews Yeah or an odium/cultivation version
Great video. This is one of the greatest theory I ever heard.
Thanks dude, I appreciate you!
I could hear your voice for hours and still stay engaged
:)))
Going off your theory, if Dalinar does fuse the honorblades and it is given to Taln. Then maybe Talenel will be Honor reborn.
Great video man, and quite an interesting theory.
Thanks I really appreciate that!
I just found this channel cause I like anime and fantasy books but imma finish Ruthin of war before I come back and binge all your videos
Thanks a lot man! Yeah you should read RoW, I don’t wanna end up spoiling you by mistake lol

If we do see such an honorblade, I think we will see it in book 9 or 10.

Quick theory: Galivar has Taln's blade. (part of a larger theory of Galivar being alive and a Voidbringer)
Oh damn that’s actually crazy I hadn’t thought of this...that would be kind of cool ngl.

nightblood wouldnt let zeth use another blade. "you should draw me zeth, im so much better than those other blades"
