I was so mad reading this cause like... all this hilarious sht was going on while I was crying over Kelsier’s death? My favourite part is when Preservation tell him you’re dead and he’s like: yeah great, you’re now my crewmate, let’s see what we’ve got to work with :D
Imagine Leras's list of achievements where next to "One of the guys who Shattered Adonalsium" and "Vessel of Shard Preservation" there'd be a sign saying "Kelsier's crew member"
I have never laughed so hard because of a book as at this moment. The few paragraphs between decking god in the face and then recruiting him into his crew is some of the best writing ever.
I finished reading Bands of Mourning a few days ago and didn't have read the Secret History until yesterday. That reveal at the end of Bands of Mourning surprised me lel
Mistborn is incredible, and secret history was very interesting. If you haven't read any of Sanderson's work you NEED to get into his writing. Currently I'm reading Stormlight Archives and I love it.
So sad to see the confirmation that Vin is, in fact, gone for good... I really hoped she stuck around in *some* capacity, all these legends in Era 2 that she merged with the mists or whatever...

I think it's funny how much of an asshole hoid is in this book, like, hoid is such a wonderful character you'd have to be such a horrible person to puss him off, and, kelsier is. We just didn't realize earlier because up until now we've been seeing him through the perspective of someone who sees him as a savior, father, and mentor. Without something to drive him which happens to help people, he does not seem like a kind person.
Thanks man! Hmm I see where you're coming from actually; it might've seemed a little convenient, but I thought it was really well executed since it didn't seem like Kelsier completely clutched up there, he just gave spook the little push he needed, and the same for Marsh. I get where you coming from though. Thanks for the comment!
@@HarshReviews you are right! for spook it was only a little push and a little titbit of information about writing on metal. but for marsh was build up to be a really strong character in the first 3 books, working on the rebellion for years for someone he loved, and getting his thoughts back from in between even when under the control of ruin... the books implied that he was so strong willed that he could resist the direct control of a GOD in one of the most critical moments allowing vin to ascend. secret history just took that away, making it kelsiers plan. I mean sanderson also told that marsh slightly resented kelsier for a successful rebellion in a year when he failed to and gave up after working for years and this was a win for marsh, which secret history took away (because kelsier threw himself at ruin to allow marsh control making it just a matter of opportunity rather than character) very very disappointing and kinda ruined a little part of the original book for me. still LOVE the mistborn series and secret history, though. and fyi reddit brought me here
You know what, I think you’ve made a really good point here. The way u put it is perfect, and now I think I agree with you on the marsh part, though I don’t think it ruins(haha gotem) the experience as a whole for me. Definitely will think on this, thanks!
@@stevenlasagna7629 I disagree. Secret History made it so Kelsier have Marsh the idea to remove the earing but it was still just Marsh who was able to resist ruin's will and actually do it.

"But of course."

And then he FUCKING RECRUITS GOD!

Oh wait, I just realized... that means 4 members of Kelsier's crew were Shardic vessels at some point.

Damn, your use of FMAB, Death Note & other anime scenes to denote actual mistborn scenes is so good. Great work.
Great video, introduces so many new concepts! 👏👏
Thanks Ums

Late answer here but isn't it said in storm light that all people who die go to some sort of eternal battle. Maybe the same can be said for scadrial
