Militarily, Since Israels founding, they (the IDF) have been the worst in terms of achieving military goals, such as minimizing civilian casualty and taking out or destabilizing an opposing force (Hamas). They are not the same army they were back in '67 and '73, they used to be able to take Sinai in days whilst completely destroying the Egyptian air force, they took Gaza itself in less than a day by surrounding them, and immobilized Syrian forces with the help of Jordanian intelligence. Now, the IDF for some reason celebrates into their fact of taking out 9k Hamas forces, whilst the total number of Hamas personal and intelligence is to be theorized somewhere between 30k-55k, taking out less than 20 percent of the radical organisations arms, whilst Israel losing approx. 255 soldiers (the most since '67) with additional 600+ service-members that includes, e.g., IDF, Police, Boarder Police, Israeli Intelligence/Shabak, and Mossad.
Currently in terms of taking out or destabalizing a 'terrorist' organisation, given Israeli Intelligence and modern millitary tech equipment, they have been doing the worst job at it since the USA and Afghan wars against the Taliban.

In the meantime they have made preliminary judgements that genocide is plausible (hence the case stands and was not thrown out, as Israel wanted it to be) and they have issued orders to Israel to prevent genocide which Israel has blatantly ignored.

The Jews were already returning to the Holy Lands before the Holocaust happened. Most of the land was barren, Tel Aviv didn't exist, Jerusalem was a "back water" to quote the Ottomans. The notion of a Palestinian nationality is a modern invention. The land itself was only renamed to "Palestina" be the Romans because of the Jewish revolt (Palestina being named after the Philistines, the historical enemies of the Jews)
