Yup. Not sure the highest number but I have Appended + Backup mag for 225 rounds with Envious, though I've seen it go to 229 once. Got it paired with Onslaught and it's on a shiny so I can also swap Envious to FTTC.
No FTTC does not proc on the overflowed portion of the mag but once it gets to the base mag size it'll kick in. So I shoot 150 rounds, then for the last 75 I have FTTC active.
I don't care if it's not the God roll or that it's not for Boss damage. If I want more dakka, I'm getting more dakka.

I pulled my old grey Hammerhead out of my vault to grind out the focus bounty. I've missed it so much lol
I used a rampage and killing tally roll last night on my void warlock. Holy shit IT shreds when you have the maximum stacks along with volatile rounds.
I almost always go with envious or a auto loading type of perk. But destabilizing rounds being a option with a damage perk is something worth noting, that’s why I love a lot of these weapons because u could also go repulsor brace with a damage perk
I miss this weapon so much. I never got rid of my old BA version because it was so good. I will be so glad to get it back.
Couple of things worth factoring imo:
1) Actium isn't the only way to bypass reload. Marksman's Dodge on Hunter or Rain of Fire on warlock are both great with any weapon that has a painful reload.
2) The target lock FTTC is really only meta on 6-person fireteams with a Div. 450s are miles better for all round play.
This was my favorite PvP heavy for ages. First shiny drop I got had fourth time and tally (like the quest curated) as well as over-under and tap the trigger. Great for PvP and PvE. Can't wait to take it into Iron Banner next week.
I hope the perk pools of future weapons are like the Brave Arsenal. There's so many combinations that could work and you arent just stuck chasing the "one all be all" roll
For those who may think Rampage + Killing Tally is redundant, remember the damage multiply with each other meaning it's not an additional 33% damage from Rampage, it's 43% more. Additionally, compared to Fourth Time's the Charm, Rampage is acting as a replacement for a reload perk in the sense that it requires you to use 43% less ammo to kill a target so for ad clear it's the better option.
So you are 43% more ammo efficient to kill trash tier mobs when I can just use sunshot, have unlimited ammo and better ad clearing?

Rampage is the worst damage perk to tack on imo. 4.5 secs to refresh is brutal.

@@Hao-cu5rb its just not though lol. 1 kill from sun shot chain reacts infinitely. Compared to a void volatile build which requires you to build into it/activate volatile rounds in the first place, which again does worse than sunshot
for PvP I'm really liking aggressive linears right now. Doomed Petitioner is fantastic with Moving Target and Keep Away.
I will totally try a Hammerhead since it used to be my favorite originally, but I am kinda in love with the triple beams of aggressive linears currently
One of my first hammer head rolls was Killing Tally + Envious with appended mag. Wish it was shiny but it feels real nice
the planets aligned for me last night.. dropped that envious killing tally roll and almost passed out. its nice that this game has some of that d1 "i just dropped the gjallarhorn!" excitement again. man was it stale before.
Envious killing tally is literally worse than reconstruction killing tally on commemoration.

@@Eric-tg9ss its not an opinion. What does envious assassin do? It overflows the mag based on kills. Reconstruction does the same thing but u dont need to do anything. The build doesnt change anything. I get its new and u wanna defend it but just look at the perks instead of getting defensive. and thats before pointing out u can actually pick your weapon parts because commemo is craftable. If u wanna run hammerhead your better off running a diff combo like rampage killing tally
@@eliedaniel1083 1, envious can overflow more than 200%. with a mag of 75 on my roll, i max out at 185 rounds, which if my math is correct, is more than 200%. 200% would be 75 times 2, which is 150. envious is better, in my opinion, supported by math. reconstruction fills to exactly double and no more. rampage has a timer... killing tally does not so long as you dont stow, reload or pick up an object like an adu battery. so, in my opinion, a mag of 185 plus the 30% damage buff from killing tally, plus the fact there is no timer, makss it far superior to the rampage roll. same goes for rewind rounds. more than 200% of the mag.
@@Eric-tg9ss envious assassin is 200% mag per light gg. The only reason u even want rampage killing tally is because recon killing tally is better than envious assassin and u can pick your mag perks and master work on commemo. But pls go off
Was blessed with a shiny Hammerhead yesterday with Rampage/Envious and Killing Tally...can confirm that you are indeed able to overflow with Envious and swap back to Rampage. It is just as good as you'd expect. Sadly, I didn't get a mag boosting perk in the second column, but hey, we take it!
For add clear and many bosses and barrier champs, I think Over Under is a really solid perk too as it just SHREDS through shield of all kinds, adding to the ammo economy.
Retrofit is better for add clear..
@@chungusultimate I really like my RE, but 450s are just my favorite in every way... and Hammerhead just sounds and feels so good...
For my Titans, I do want to note something about Rewind Rounds combined with Actium War Rig. If you can control your shots (meaning don't blow your load) and allow them to regenerate a little bit, then proc Rewind Rounds, you can massively overload your gun. I don't know the limits, but I've had 160+ in my mag on my Corrective action and other Auto Rifles doing this.

While I'm not disputing the Godroll in this, I wouldn't sleep on Desperate Measures. The one thing it can do that Killing Tally can't, is activate while stowed, so you can get a melee/grenade kill and switch to Hammerhead and it's already at 2 or 3x before you start slaying. Plus, it synergises really nicely with the Origin Trait. I have a shiny with Rampage/Desperate Measures and it's great fun on an ability spam focused build.
I’ve got a rampage onslaught roll. Love it!
I like to use high calibre rounds to stagger the yellow bars so they don't shoot back. Doesn't change the ads sweeping effect of machine guns, but it gives a bigger safety margin, not getting shot back as much. Also helps in PVP. They can't hit back if they can't keep their weapon aimed at you.
I kept getting all various perk combinations and couldn't decide which one I wanted to keep. This gun is nuts with options
I got the roll with appended mag, envious assassin, killing tally. I am glad i kept it.
You CAN swap from Envious Assassin to Auto Loading and retain the over loaded mag size - i have a willy wonka gold ticket Edge Transit with the 3rd perk having both Auto loading & envious ass, and swap from a loaded envious to auto loading when rallying the flag - if you save your loadout with auto loading selected on the edge transit you can select the loadout containing whatever other slot weapons without losing anything
I'm loving hammerhead with extended mag, envious assassin and target lock for now. Might look for another roll but I never have to reload, good boss dps and volatile makes it an ad clearing machine

I've been using the curated roll from the quest with fourth times the charm and killing tally, its a lot of fun to use.
My favourite so far is destabilizing and onslaught, really nice for ad clearing.
I’m looking for rewind + killing tally while rocking Actium, should be good at add and yellow bar clears but also since killing tally dosent go away unless stowed and actium refilling it over time is a great boss dps along with rewind so once on that boss dps hits you’ll get more in the mag with it
I’ll be going for rampage and desperate measures. Pair that with my midnight coup with desperate measures and use an exotic special (buried bloodline personally). Amazing machine gun. The king is back
Shit man, this is what I am aiming for, basically no one understands how infinitely good desperate measures is, KT requires you to kill shit before you can even get the bonuses with the weapon, all you need with DM is to kill one thing with a grenade or melee and you're already in business.
I literally got this golden godroll yesterday. I was so hyped.
I've been a fan of DSR (destabilizing realms) from it's inception. That debuf spread works wonders with crowd control. I put that shit on everything.
Personally, I'll be looking for DSR with DM (desperate measures) or KT (killing tally).
For a bosses, I'm looking for Rampage and TL (target lock) or HIR (high impact reserves).

I’ve got extended mag/tac mag with rampage/rewind rounds and killing tally/surrounded. It absolutely slays.
My first really used rolled was a Rampage/Killing Tally with sky high reload. That with Gyr is super broken in Onslaught, immediately gurantee 800+ kills
I managed to get my first shiny shortly after the launch of Onslaught and it was a hammerhead with Rampage, Onslaught, Rewind, High Impact Reserves. Pretty good imo
Another thing to mention is that Commemoration's base inventory size is 55 and Hammerhead is substantially lower at base 40.
What mags do you have? My Commemoration has a mag of 72 and my Hammerhead has 52

i got a shiny with richochet, extended barrel, rampage/envious, killing tally/ target lock range masterwork. not half bad. and yes u can put on envious proc it twice to overfill mag then swap back to rampage and watch the fun.
I got a simple rewind onslaught roll and its completely awesome
Back last season or 2 machine guns was usually a staple in my build for overloads. Their still good just rockets being able to stun overloads is so beneficial but I’m glad to see a good machine gun come out. We need a a new solar one that isn’t limited to trials or events. The solar machine gun from I think the dawning is solid I have rewind rounds target lock and rewind rounds vorpal weapon. Personally tho with machine guns I always go for auto loading or demo or something in first slot so I don’t have to spend forever reloading
Landed a shiny destabilizing and envious in column 3 with onslaught and killing tally in column 4. Can confirm, it's an absolute animal.
This is a great option for people that weren't able to craft Commemoration. For me, it's not going to replace my Commemmoration so I am not worrying about grinding for it too hard. If I get a great roll, awesome but I'm still rocking the tried and true.
I have 3 God rolls for different situations and they are so good.
Destabilizing rounds/killing tally for void builds
4th times/target lock for boss damage
Rampage/killing tally for general add clear

i usually can agree with you on your takes but with the best reload perk on this gun being rewind it puts it out of contention for best machine gun. both commemoration and corrective measure have better perk combos (recon/killing tally and demo/adrenaline)
Envious Assassin can get the mag up to 240ish rounds. Corrective Measure's stats also make it better, and not worth taking for a whopping 3% extra damage if you don't run rampage + KT or Desperate Measures (this is your daily reminder that the values of these damage are multiplicative with each other, meaning you get 43% more damage instead.)
If you really want to get down to brass tacks, Commemoration isn't even in the top 5 boss DPS machineguns, so I highly doubt Corrective would reach the top 10, if you wanted the "I can shit out the most DPS using AWR" as a non-exotic machinegun Hammerhead or Retrofit are your two best bets. But why the hell would you use a machine gun for DPS in the first place, outside of very niche cases.
To me it seems a commemoration like roll of rewind or envious and killing tally will still be the best all around for add clear in terms of good total damage, ammo economy, etc.
Rewind rounds works based on hits, so does it scale with a boosted mag? If so, there could also be some serious swap synergy between envious and rewind rounds. Any class could chew through their entire reserves without a reload like an actium Titan could.
Got my godroll hammerhead whilst focusing mountaintop, killing tally and rampage cooks, plus it was a shiny version aswell as my first shiny drop lol

I like my CIRCULAR LOGIC with Strand build, it has nanotech tracer rockets, hatchlings, envious assassins, appended mag, extended barrel
As someone who got a killing tally envious/rewind rounds golden roll, can confirm that the envious swap off works. Assume it would with rampage too then. GL farming
For me using warlock, i use echo of domineering to reload instantly when i kill an enemy using a suppressor grenade. That way i keep the chain going over and over again until there are no more enemies.
I like running mountaintop with recombination auto, then a hammerhead with envious and killing tally, then run sunshot you will always have tons of ammo and damage

The only way hammerhead beats commemoration is if you get envious and rampage in the same column on the shiny roll. Also you are better off attuning edge transit first imo since that god roll will actually make a difference in day 1 dps checks

Best rolls I’ve gotten are “4th times and target lock” for dps. And I got a “desperate measures and rampage” roll for adclear
Keep in mind that you can proc desperate measures while the weapon is stowed. This completely changed my view of the perk when I figured this out last night lol.

My first drop was a shiny with rampage, envious and onslaught, target lock. Was so close to the perfect roll
Killing tally and rewind rounds with backup mag is amazing puts it to 73 rounds and rewind rounds perks twice. 1st is about 43 rounds and the second is around 20 something rounds.

With envious assassin, rampage and killing tally you can get a total of 200 rounds with a 70% damage bonus. Obviously rampage after 4 seconds wears off, but even with killing tally and the overloaded mag size from envious you can get crazy damage, and it can still be used to ad clear pretty good if you pair it with actium war rig. Overall it's a godly looking lmg
Maybe im just misreading that very beginning part, but the way you put it makes it seem like you said it could you could use all three perks at once… unless youre saying use envious first, then swap the perk?…
@@YourLocalBigfoot Yeah i meant to say to use envious first and then switch to rampage. You get all of the stacks with envious first, then change the perk to rampage and get 3 kills. Theoretically you should get a 70% damage bonus. Since rampage lasts 4 seconds, this isn't a gamebreaking combo in terms of dps. But for ad clear, if you can keep shredding ads, both killing tally and rampage should stay on for a while.

Fourth times the charm works in pvp too. You get 2 ammo after 4 precision shots out of thin air

you know procing envious and swapping to rampage would be crazy but if you could also get 3 kills to proc killing tally and swap to onslaught…that would be insane
I actually had a roll of Rampage and Killing Tally and scraped it without thinking. I do still have destabilizing rounds and killing tally on another

The demo and OFA adept corrective measure is still arguably better. More total ammo, a 35% damage buff that doesn’t require kills to trigger and demo removing the need to reload.
While hammer head can get a higher damage buff, it is hard to see a situation where that is more beneficial than the utility granted by demo.
Other than the fact the origin trait is half of what demo is but to each their own

Got my Rampage/Killing Tally roll with Reload MW yesterday on a Shiny.....I'm good.
Been rocking out a build very similar to this for a while now. I never anyone combining Weavewalk and the Wanderer and I always wonder why? It's like turning your tangle into a shackle grenade every 12 seconds after your cool down is over but better because it spawns threadlings too. I have to admit I'm kinda addicted to it as well. It's just so damn good and lots of fun too. I kept meaning to submit it to Cross or Mact but I was kinda wanted to be greedy and keep it to myself. Oh and Final Warning really does hit like a truck. Really any strand weapon can work with these aspects this season because of unraveling orbs artifact mod but we won't have that for too much longer and that's when Final Warning really will shine.
This use to be my fav machine gun when it came out a long time ago in the black armory forge

I just got all the brave weapons in the destiny 2 now I need to get the all black shader I got the alpha key and I need to finish the last two weapon missions then I get the omega key so can't wait I am so excited to get it

I got a shiny one with destablizing/ envious and target lock/ desperate measures. I use destabilizing and desperate with gyrfalcon its great on waves and target lock on bosses.
Rampage killing tally seems kinda interesting… i was originally gonna go for envious Killy tally, but I might go for a rampage killing tally just to have one
I got a shiny hammerhead last night with hammer forged, extended mag, rampage/rewind rounds, and surrounded/onslaught. Pretty stoked for that. Some dude on Facebook is telling me it's trash 🤣🤦

I don't know if this has been stated yet but you can also use another weapon with rampage then swap over to hammerhead with max ammo and rampagex3 to start off
