I would very much like to make a 3rd and 1.
Savage played Slot in college which made him a first rounder. Not sure why someone would take him out of that position.

8-3 was a nice place to be sitting last year. We had a great run between the end of the year before and when we hit 8-3. I hope we can get more of that.
A #1 WR is still the priority. Either trade up for one of the big 3, stay at #17 and draft Brian Thomas Jr. or draft Xavier Leggette or Javon Baker at #48. Our receivers don’t scare anyone right now.
Man BPA is such a scary thought though... I would rather see a bunch of round 2 and 3 picks than pucking bpa at 17 bc this draft is stacked for positions we need.

I say that we should definitely try to trade back and get more picks. I also think we should try to trade back up in the bottom of the1st or top of the 2nd getting 2 blue chips and filling out the needs with more talent and our depth chat. The rest of the picks will add rotational pieces and much needed depth and competition

I'm curious if the emergency of Houston will factor into how the Jags draft and adjust the roster.
Trent Baalke doesn't draft players from HBCU. FAMU won the HBCU National Championship this year. They have good players on that team and I haven't heard any talk about them.

There are no "elite" OL on any team in the NFL right now. Jags fan seems to be idiots always demanding something that doesn't even exist in the NFL.

@@stevenhayesjr2967 No they're not, an elite OL is Cowboys of the 90s. There are a lack of good G and C and LTs in the league. Besides y'all can't even appreciate having a top 5 LT on the team and the second best in franchise history. People are still talking about Walker Little staring after not being able beat anyone out for 4 yrs.

@@jayshupp5971 Jags fan jagging again, our WRs are not subpar they are borderline above average. Carolina is what you would call subpar and a few others.
Hot Take: I don’t know if anyone agrees with me but I think trading Cam Robinson tor trade up in the draft a couple of spots to a team that looking for a decent LT so they can Take Olu Fashanu would be a good move

The more I think about it, Jaguars need to trade down and acquire picks but pick before the chiefs pick and draft Xavier Worthy. It's game over for 31 other teams if the Chiefs acquire him. Xavier Worthy is the real deal and he will help make the offense and Trevor Lawrence explode.
Xavier Worthy is too small. A strong wind would knock him over. He’s rail thin. They will break him in half, in the NFL.
I agree with trading down and getting more picks. But I also think we should try to trade back up in the Bottom of the 1st or top of the 2nd gives you 2 bites of the apple in the first 40 and getting the players we have been coveting.
Gabe Davis is not even close to Evan Engram’s level. Davis is a poor route runner with straight line speed and sub-par hands. He is a #3 NFL WR as is Zay Jones. Christian Kirk is a good slot receiver, but we have no good outside WR’s. This has to be the top priority.
