    We all know that gut-wrenching feeling when your little one starts complaining of a tummy ache and you just know it's a stomach bug. I know my mind starts racing thinking about what the next few days will hold. Once one child catches a stomach virus it's only a matter of time before the rest of them catch it too. Those viruses are relentless and definitely cause me a lot of stress.
    When I encountered our first stomach virus when my kids were really young, I went to the store in search of an electrolytes drink and I remember being completely shocked at the ingredients in the pedialyte drinks that are recommended. Have you ever looked at the ingredients in those electrolytes drinks? Keep reading the full blog post here: www.raisingnobles.com/natural-...
    Recipe & Directions to make this Natural Electrolytes Drink
    3/4 cup juice
    2 T raw honey - favorite organic raw honey: amzn.to/37g0jxg
    1/8 tsp Celtic Sea Salt - not your average salt, *most important ingredient: amzn.to/2OHMWQ9 I buy the big bag of fine salt and it lasts our family a long time.
    2 cups filtered water
    1/2 cup ice
    Blend all ingredients together. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container, like a mason jar with a lid. I suggest making a new batch every 24 hours or so. I offer it to my children a little bit at a time.
    Voila! You have a delicious, refreshing and healthy electrolytes drink to give to your kids or for yourself whenever you need it!

      @@littlehummingbird1015 It's an acquired taste. If you only use the stems and not the leaves it's quite sweet and refreshing a real pick me up. If you include the leaves it's quite bitter but you can get used to the taste. I feel amazing all day if I have a celery juice in the morning. An author has written a whole book on the health benefits of celery, its called "Celery Juice" by Anthony William. The two most important things that you've missed in your recipe are magnesium glycinate and potassium you can get powdered magnesium glycinate, it the glycinate form does not affect your bowels. It is a high absorption magnesium that is needed by your body. Also you can get a good form of potassium by purchasing a product called Nu salt. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

    I often wonder if what our moms used to give us--clear soda or ginger ale--was their version of a type of electrolyte drink, and they just didn't know it? To this day, I seek out ginger ale when I'm sick (along with tomato or chicken soup and grilled cheese sandwiches!) PediaLite clear/flavorless works well for me, as I can add it to my water or club soda, and sip it during the worst of my illnesses without feeling like regurgitating. 😛 I've also made my own electrolyte drink with coconut water, Himalayan salt, a little molasses for balance, and fresh lemon juice (thinned out with distilled water).

    Neat. You can substitute the Celtic Salt with Lite Salt for 50/50 Sodium Chloride and Potassium Chloride that is iodinized or the Salt Substitute or NuSalt for a 100% Potassium Chloride salt. or LoSalt is another option with some Mg added and 66% Potassium Chloride and 33% Sodium Chloride and I guess the 1% Magnesium Carbonate that should fizzle out to form Mg Citrate if using Lemon Juice or citric acid containing juice maybe you can mix with like Lime Juice before adding to the other juice used. I don't recall an iodinized KCl option other than Lite Salt off hand. If you use that LoSalt or Lite Salt or KCl salt... you can still add the Redmonds salt for more trace minerals. Liver is great as a natural multivitamin as well or maybe Pumpkin Seeds Shelled or ground into like a powder-paste on some toast? I like sardines as well.

    Best drink you can possibly drink:
    Mix:
    Kangen/ionized water, Himalayan salt, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Your ionized water should be the highest ph possible because some of that will be neutralized by the lemon juice. In the end you want a water that is 8.0-8.5 on the ph scale.
    If you drink this water fresh, it will act as extreme hydration, extreme antioxidant, and act as a counter to the acidic foods you consume.

      Hi! I’m not sure 🤔 maybe there is a mineral powder you can purchase in place of the salt?

    • @calleinad
      @calleinad 4 года назад +15

      the very definition of electrolyte is salt! you may be able to replace the table salt with some other mineral salt, but removing the salt entirely would mean its not an electrolyte drink. thats why gatorade and pedialyte have a sort of salty taste

      I'm assuming your trying to stay away from "salt" because your amazing and smart doctor(people who obviously know everything about the body) told you that.
      Salt and sodium are very different. Now yes sodium is in the amazing lab-grown synthetic salts that almost everyone eats. But completely removing salt means you get no sodium. You cannot live without healthy or properly without sodium. Sea salt, Celtic, or pono Himalayan salt when they are in their rawest form does not affect the body in a negative way(dont be stupid and chug them, needs to be balanced)

      you need the salt for the sodium, they need to be balanced.

      You might want to look it up unless you use a different source of iodine.. Celtic salt has a bit more iodine in it than Himalayan salt. The problem with having diarrhea or throwing up is that you displace all of your minerals so a good electrolyte mix will have more trace minerals and minerals in it. Just make sure the Magnesium is a glycinate so that it will thumbs up for me not cause more water to be pulled into the colon

    I use Himalayan salt , You get the iodine which most people are deficient of and session of and is key to the immune system , Potassium chloride in the form of a substitute salt the Brand i uses I uses in nu -salt And then from the health store a vitamin supplement magnesium glyceride , You just use a little bit of the latter 2 to the pink salt , The juice of one lemon in about 40 oz of water To half a teaspoon , He might be able to use a little bit of powdered egg white as a base for the Accelerate of a lemon . Doing this 3 times A-day will also give you your daily allowment of vitamin C , It tastes like lemon line Gatorade without the sugar

    • @d.renemorgan8848
      @d.renemorgan8848 Год назад
