Plus they will impound his car, and he won't have the money to get it back so that will help in his "travels". I used to buy cars cheap from the local impound lot from goobers like this. After a week, the fee is 2x what the car is worth.

A touch of anger helps the heart rate get up to speed and helps you get some extra energy when dealing with threats, aggressiveness up to a point has its values. The US military teaches their grunts with a behaviour method called C.A.R (Confident Aggressive Relaxed), if I recall correctly.
It is completely based on misinformation that people find suitable to what they desire. While I don't know the full implication of what sovereignty pertains to, in the case of driving a motor vehicle. It is clear that claim of sovereignty is used to bypass the fact that they likely don't have the legal authority to be on the road. Or in other words unable to obtain or a revoked license. What baffles me more is why anybody would think that this is effective in any sense of the law. It only leads to things being worse for them like this arrestee whom resisted and obstructed.
@@juvygenius yeah, it is over regurgitated word salads about cases taken out of context. Team Skeptic and Van Balion go over sov bullshit all the time. half the videos i have seen with these dipshits involve them having suspended licenses, and part of the problem is DA's don't want to deal with their shit, so they will drop the tickets. these idiots will then take it as a win and continue, i have seen judges shred a person's arguments when they claim to be a "constitutionalist" or "sov citizen." it's absolutely hilarious, because they seem to believe they can ignore laws they dont like.
It’s actually a little ironic. The people set the laws that sovereign citizens don’t recognize. The people literally arresting him- I like it. Citizen v Sovereign citizen.
@@The_Winters_SoldierIf you bothered to read the description, you’d know that this video cleared the Officer of all false allegations- such as yours. 🤣

I'd be so jazzed to help out a cop like that. I miss the days when the police were looked at as good guys. Funny there was way more corruption back then. Now they stopped carrying clubs, wear body cams, have a million rules and laws preventing them from abusing their power and people hate them more than ever. It's mind boggling to me.
Because the family accused the police of brutality so PD had to respond by releasing the body cam footage within hours of the og post. The og post and the video went viral and now this is being shared on every corner of the internet
Definitely. I drive an 80,000 pound truck and trailer. I've used that to help. It's a huge, 70 foot long barrier to escape for anyone stupid enough to claim "traveling". I travel for an income, you stupid basterd, these police and troopers keep me safe from you.
So glad to see this officer not putting up with these Sovereign Citizen nonsense! I was so happy to see a person driving by stop to help the officer. Great job!!👏🏼
These people are jokers. They pay not taxes, have no license, no insurance but feel the6 are free to use all the benefits of roads and highways for free.
This police officer is the perfect example of how to resolve these types of situations. In one minute and without beating around the bush, straight to the point.
My only criticism is that he didn't wait for backup to arrive before going hands-on. That allowed the physical confrontation to be a fair fight. If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, you're doing it wrong.
Redding is my home town. At first I was depressed that guys like this are ripping down Bechelli claiming to be sov cits, but then the good Samaritan helped out and I was proud to be from Redding again.
"Traveling for business" always makes me laugh. Because they claim they aren't making money in the "traveling". Otherwise, it would be called "driving," but what is work other than making money? Lol
@@bektas1453 Possible warning or ticket, turned into resisting arrest, into resisting arrest with violence, and possibly much, much more. Oh, and a car tow for good measure.
They don't make up the laws. Whether they misinterpret them is for the court and them to agree upon. You could literally remain silent at a traffic stop and with logic that of yours, poof, one would be an automatic sovereign for using their 5th amendment right to not be self incriminating.
That's the thing, they know that, but they're debating in the street anyway because they're trying to waste time. In their 20+ years of existing, sovereign citizens have never succeeded in court. At this point, theyre just trying to waste time to discourage officers from engaging them so the newer generation of sovcits can get away with it.
Yes, people don't seem to understand this. If you believe you are in the right, get that lawyer and fight it in court. Then they might actually have a chance.
Does anyone have an example of sovereign citizens actually getting some benefit out of their delusion? How do people continue to be seduced by this idea?
You see all the colonists driving by at speed limit no one bothering them. Interesting. Almost like if he waant speeding hed have never got exposed as a tard

Want to guess how that may play out in neighborhoods that aren’t great? There’s a very adversarial relationship between police and population in some areas. It’s part of why so many departments are so understaffed. No too many kids in east Oakland or where ever hope to become cops when they grow up … or even tolerate them.
@@morganerickson439 are the cops a part of the population? The largest issue with the relationship between the police and the community is the media and the way they report on issues. But, tensions between two groups tend to feed on each other. It’s hard to look at either in isolation. If people distrust the police … they’re more like to interfere negatively. They’re more likely to be nervous, which makes the cops nervous. And on and on that goes.
These Sov Cits are really stupid, and often already lost their driver’s license for a variety of reasons. Then they search the internet for ways to drive without a license, and run across this scam. Their stupidity allows them to believe all this Sov Cit junk.
Sovereign citizens don't understand to drive a car on a federal and public maintained roadway, they need to follow the rules of the road, and have a license to drive for the metal missile they own. They can travel by bike and foot all they want, but get anywhere near a highway, and you need to be able to follow the rules of the road, or get off of it.
Oh it's even funnier when they're not from OR in the US and try this stuff. Seen idiots in the UK AND Australia try quoting the SCOTUS like it's an international organization. An impressive bit of boondoggle!
It's nothing but anything and everything to get away with breaking the law. Their just not smart enough to figure out what the next great excuse might be. Now they're stuck like a broken record.
See the thing a lot of people don't realize is that sometimes the Sovcit thing DOES work. It's not often but if you just happen to run into a cop that's also a Sovcit and inform them that you're not conducting business and that you're "just traveling" they could possibly let you off or at least be more lenient.
Halfway through I was itching for the officer to tell him, "You're traveling to jail." And then he did! Great job and this is how all Sovereign Citizen stops should be conducted.

He's a typical product of social media failure
It is completely based on misinformation that people find suitable to what they desire. While I don't know the full implication of what sovereignty pertains to, in the case of driving a motor vehicle. It is clear that claim of sovereignty is used to bypass the fact that they likely don't have the legal authority to be on the road. Or in other words unable to obtain or a revoked license. What baffles me more is why anybody would think that this is effective in any sense of the law. It only leads to things being worse for them like this arrestee whom resisted and obstructed.
It DOES work! Here's why - Criminally inept District Attorneys and feckless judges let them walk with little more than a slap on the wrist.
@@juvygenius yeah, it is over regurgitated word salads about cases taken out of context.
