Ross McFarlane's drumming is just amazing! The commitment, the attitude, the power, the minimalism and of course the head movement :) Just pure joy to watch and listen. Not to take anything away from the rest of the band and orchestra, obviously! Great musicianship all-together!
It's actually Barrowland but in Glaswegian slang we say Barrowland and it's an area where people sold goods from barrows,and the venue where they are playing used to be a dance hall in the area by the same name and just about everybody's parents and grandparents went there to hear bands and dance. I hope that's helpful,so it's a name that Glaswegians know well hence the cheering😊
