I'm the same as you! So many ideas for creative projects. I have an event I'm organizing for this coming July (2023) with a club I belong to and over the past 15 years I've attended other events of this type. I have never seen a better opportunity to introduce for the first time lasered items to this niche and hope it turns out well.

I have a cricut and I am facing the same issues. It's really good for vinyl and paper, but once I try to cut anything heavy or thick it does not always give the results I am looking for. Thanks for this video! I love that you can really personalize the gift boxes and the gift! Cool stuff!

I'm loving my laser (LU2-10A) thus far - loads of possibilities to be had... just wish I could figure out my settings for pictures on slate / mirrors...

Those earrings look great. I've got two questions about your Longer laser. Have you tried driving it faster than the 10,000mm/minute spec? Second, I know Longer isn't planning on an extension kit, but the extension kits for a lot of these lasers look very similar. Does it look like the extruded rails on teh Ray5 could be swapped out with rails from an extension kit from Sculpfun or similar? If they use the same aluminum extrusions, it probably wouldn't be hard to adjust the mounting holes.

      1. No I haven't. I personally don't see a reason for it. But once I have the enclosure finished I might test it. I like to stay under 6k to keep the 'shimmy' down unless it is fastened to the board securely. 2. I was thinking this too. As it looks to be made from off the shelf extrusions, someone could probably make an extension, but what about the cables? May not be worth. Just get an Atezr if you want more accessories IMO.
