thank you so much, i recently got an used 10w diode laser engraver/cutter and i had a 3d printer for a year and a half. I started selling 3d printed products online and this tutorial really really helped me making my own and get a better impression from the client. Thanks again!
Tutorial is great. I've been making stuff with a laser cutter for about a year now. I'm ready for your cardboard box design. Yes please email me a copy. Thanks for your guidance and sharing. Wayne
Excellent and creative. Love watching people like yourself that teach me new things and help expand my knowledge. Well done! I would like a copy of the Lightburn file if still availabe. Enjoying many of your videos. I've not had the chance to watch them all yet but I'll get there shortly.
Hey there Brian - I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and thank you for your support - here is the link for the Lightburn Project File tinyurl.com/mrcraftsmithbox
new to lightburn and loved this vid ironicaly i worked in a box factory making boxs on a bigger scale but that was 30 years ago, would love the lightburn file thanks
Smashing job, Darren! Always thought about doing my own custom packaging but never got around to actually doing them yet. Would be very happy to get a copy of the Lightburn file. I will add my logo and maybe modify it a bit, so that it does not feel that much of a cheat 🤫😂
Hey Darren, another great video as usual. Love how you keep things simple and interesting at the same time. Great idea to recycle all that packaging from Amazon :)
Darren, GREAT way to utilize our lasers to both help the environment and produce a usable product. I was thinking all along about the marketing aspect you mentioned. I can see a light engraving on the bottom (or inside top) that says something like This box handmade with recycled cardboard. And you mentioned covering it with paper. I've seen very nice craft designed paper that I'm sure you could glue to the uncut cardboard and then do your final cut.
Hey Larry - thanks for watching - My concerns around the paper were how they would handle the folding and if it would split - may have to do some testing
Darren. Followed along and was impressed with the method and thought process. So far enjoyed each of your videos. If still available, I'd love a copy of the file. Thanks very much
Hi Darren - Never thought of making my own boxes, what a great idea. Please can I have a copy of your lightburn file. Your videos are very informative I do enjoy them.

Nice video! I would like to get a copy of the file if possible. Thank you. My next step is to figure out how to cut the cardboard without setting it on fire. 😬
Hey Barry - I'm sure you'll work it out - just do a material burn test first to work out your settings - here is the link for the Lightburn Project File tinyurl.com/mrcraftsmithbox
Darren, very well done. Ive been thinking about this for a while but never got round to it. Like you say its a good marketing tool for sustainability, could you pass the link to me please?
Love the simplistic design. I love recycling cardboard.
Thanks David - simple is the limit of my capabilities 😁😁

@@mrcraftsmith You are correct. I didn't think of that.
but gluing fabric may be a more viable option and may indeed add some structural integrity to the box for re-use purposes

Darren, I'd like to see how you got the nice sharp folds. I've tried this and had trouble getting good folds. Great stuff, thanks for the video!
Hey George - to be honest the folds aren't the sharpest - but I use a metal edge ruler on the fold lineand seems to work OK
