World Book Fair 📚 Delhi 2024 | My picks

I recently visited the World Book Fair 2024 annual edition in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This fair is really interesting as thousands of people of all ages come to visit even in this era of short videos, you see these people hoarding 10s of books in their arms and going to the payment counter, kids and teenagers convincing their parents hard to get as many books as possible, like "Ma ma, please get this one also, this is the final in the series or this is really good" etc, etc then parents denying their plea and I'm like in an awe of this new reality asking in my head, are you really an authentic Indian parent who denies their kids books.
I also got to see author Akshat Gupta of "The Hidden Hindu Trilogy", signing books surrounded by many of his readers. I had seen him here before as well at that time his first book had just gotten out and two teenage girls were talking to him, he was just near the Penguin publication's gate, standing shyly with an office-like strip bag on his shoulders, but this time was different.
As I said, interesting stuff.
