I absolutely love watching these. I’m usually an english rider, jumping. But I honestly really enjoy this type of stuff, out in the wilderness on horseback. I’ve been on ranches, helping around. Been on 3 pack trips in canadian mountains, absolutely love it.
This is IT! Miss doing this!!! Stop riding in circles and get out there and Do It! You're horse/mule will love you for it ~ you will grow n yer horse /mule will bond with you and your confidence will grow!! Go Do It - Load Em Up and Grow!
Looks like bits aren't really needed after all, the horse probably appreciated it regardless. I think it just takes a good relationship with your horse and knowing how to ride. Beautiful vid!
Personally I don't think bits are the worst thing ever or the best. Some horses don't need them and other horses do better with a bit. Every tool can be mis-used and that's when it becomes dangerous.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
Amazing!!! Wow! Nature, horses, snow, I can feel the fresh breeze....And did not know that horses can pass through such obstacles...Just wow. What a life! Lucky you :)
Loved this ride! Great looking country. Yep, a mule can do it. Thanks so much for taking us in this gorgeous adventure. Wish I were there with you. Congrats on your 100,000! Glad I could be part of it. Take care, send out more vids. 🇨🇦
Sir I will have to say I am living vicariously through y’all. Enjoy the ride and life. I wish I was in those type of areas and I am currently making plans to relocate to a more suitable area but that is a few years out lol. Keep the videos coming and thank you in advance.
I like that big sorrel. I'm not sure I'll ever be a mule guy, but more power to you, Ty. With that in mind, how a bronc with donk on your logo? I'm in the Cap Club.
Im impressed by the intern who forgot his bridle....he does everything you guys do in a rope halter....keep up and he passes you...lol.. so much fun....i would love to be out there. This is my first video watching you...
If this is your first, you are in for a wild ride with these guys! I say I can ride descent but these men ride .. well, you've got to see it for yourself 👌 I follow them I can say litteraly from the start and have seen some truly historic and brutal situations imho.
I can't even imagine having that much open space all to yourself. Here you meet at least three out of control dogs, ten way too excited kids and a ton of burnt out adults every time you go out for a ride
The guy on the sorrel looks a bit heavy for that horse. The way the horse hollowed out his back looked like it hurt. Such good equines! I hope they got a warm meal after packing you around like that:)
England here, amazing country the way those animals coped with the trees across the track, we would have jumped them but not in that snow with the icy ground. Worried me that iron hard frozen ground and you cantered !! Lucky you didn’t have a broken leg please take care.
What makes you decide between riding a mule or a horse, also what kind of bits do you use or do you prefer w/o ever? and are they barefoot? lots of questions? 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢 Proud member! 🤠
It looks like they use snaffle bits but not sure as I am just a viewer. I believe mules are more sure-footed than most horses. They can climb and jump on top of rocky terrain easier than a horse can.
I know I'm coming at this late. Just curious why there's so much down timber. Started watching both your channels because I just got a mule. Subscribed because you guys just have too much fun and I enjoy watching it. Thanks!
0:45 hey! I noticed that your horse was already tacked up in the trailer, and i know you could have just tacked him up then put him in there. But i just wanted to say that when your horse is in a trailer they are working, it is also very stressful for most horses to be in a trailer. So one time i was going to a show and i tacked up my horse before..so he absolutely FREAKED out and the saddle fell off, long story short he stepped on it and hurt himself. (your horses/mules are beautiful btw)
One look and I know the intern can’t ride. Toes pointing down. Hi Tyler, do you guys use boreom or studs on your horse shoes in winter? Crossing frozen creeks becomes no issue with those things. Thanks for the great video. I was supposed to pack the horses and go out for elk today but was too lazy. Your video convinced me to get up at 4 am tomorrow and get the horse trailer loaded and get out to find a bull. Thanks.
Ah I’ve forgotten my bridal before..talk about a rodeo. Love the winter time, -20 here plus high of 0 for 3 days straight. Wasn’t even Halloween yet. Starting the year off right!
It's fun to ride in the snow never rode a mule in the snow they're probably pretty good slipping around looks Fish Lake high top we ride up there a lot it'd be fun come ride up there
I had a horse try to buck me off once elk hunting. Came up on an elk skeleton and it freaked out. Now this horse was used for hunting forever so the owner was surprised by its actions.
I been gathering in the snow it gets cold fast thanks for the ride .. . . hey I see you guys run into Burdock~ the sorrels tail :-) I can't stand that stuff
Do the horses have their winter coats; Should not be in the snow without as the cold and wet goes through coat to fast Hope you know what your doing. Lots of bad stuff under the snow you dont see can get someone or their horse hurt.
Just think about how many people would never do this, then think about how our country was discovered. Seems like a trend with how popular society leaning.
Definitely mule country, but what exactly were you guys doing up there? No rifles so not hunting and did not seem to be the place or weather for a joy ride.
I agree, - a broken legged horse is a sad ass thing out there! Only in trapped situations have I ever put my pard in those conditions. There are generally game trails that can make a good difference. I think some showing off is the theme.
Horses are amazing and mules they are so strong up hills to and all off you love horses that's why I watch you because it is about everything in your videos that you do and I watch you because I love horses 😀😀😀😀😀😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄

Bits are trash honestly
Personally I don't think bits are the worst thing ever or the best. Some horses don't need them and other horses do better with a bit.

Ah...horses are gorgeous in the snow. I'd always thought so, but my first black horse in the snow was especially stunning.
Yes there absolutely stunning
ya’ll think a black horse if pretty in the snow? you should see my dappled grey in the snow, he’s absolutely breathtaking.
I have a black pony and looks very cut playing in the snow
I have a quater horse that’s black
Thanks for sharing. That country is beautiful with a light covering of snow.
Loved this ride! Great looking country. Yep, a mule can do it. Thanks so much for taking us in this gorgeous adventure. Wish I were there with you. Congrats on your 100,000! Glad I could be part of it. Take care, send out more vids. 🇨🇦
That little grulla horse handled the terrain really well so did the sorrel, but the mule did the best.
That’s what mule’s do
I used. To. Cowboy just like you guys. When my. Uncle. And father. We’re alive. Keep the. Old. Ways. Going. God bless
I just love the snow and with horses and donks makes it perfect!

Looking at the video and the riding, and all of the obstacles these mounts have to go over, I don't think these horses would be spooked by that lol
@@anb2526 did you not even read my comment
@@finn8134 I did and I reacted to what you wrote. haha
I'm already a little jealous.
Hi, I am a Jeeper from the northeast, just stumbled onto your channel, LOVED IT!! what part of the country are you in. Newest subscriber.

I like your Mule
When out on your rides, how often do you come across bear?
Love you guys!
My grandad was always a mule man, he had work mules and his favorite riding mule. Riding those trails I’d rather be riding a mule.

Damn this looks like alot of fun
Beautiful shots. What kind of camera did you film that with?
I’ll take a cap 🧢. Just Subscribed. 😎

title: we got caught in a storm, first few sentences of clip, "so this is the first snowstorm" get out of here liars.
@Bret Olsen you were caught in it, you rode into it, and it was a light flurry not a storm, the video is ass.
I know. Michiganer here looking at that powder. It's just your daily dusting from December to February. Call it a storm when it dumps 2 or 3 feet.❄❄❄
