East Lancashire Railway | Autumn Steam Gala 2023 | 13th October 2023

The first day of the East Lancashire Railway Autumn Steam Gala 2023. In this video we start off at Burrs C.P. with the longest demonstration goods train in East Lancashire Railway preservation history hauled by LMS 8F 2-8-0 Class no 48305 from the Great Central Railway and BR Class 24 no D5054 and banked by LMS Jinty 3F Class no 47298. Later on we steam locomotives departing and arriving at Bury Bolton Street Station with the home fleet and special guest locomotives including LMS Jubilee Class no 45690 Leader. Later on the afternoon we trains at stopping or going through Burrs C.P. including a double header of LMS Jubilee Class no 45690 Leader and making a return to traffic is SR West Country Class no 34092 City of Wells. Final we a few more trains at Summerseat with 34092 City of Wells and Jinty 3F 47298 with a small goods trains. Hope you enjoy this video and thanks for watching.
