Amazing railway, every view is just so aesthetically pleasing. It's somehow like a 1:1 scale model of a railway built by some genius modeller, all the details, the trackside equipment, the waterfall tunnels, the faux log cabin and swiss chalet buildings, everything so neat and tidy against a background of epic nature and snow covered mountains.
Genuinely astonishing stuff John, very impressed and I did marvel a lot, it makes the VoR or the FR look like a gentle stroll in the park. I'm astonished... I think we need treats like this more often than at Christmas though if possible!! Thanks to you and Mr N. for recording and sharing the rather incredible journey being shared with us. It looks / feels like a long out-dated railway from a generation ago, but clearly it's still the best way to do the job... I wonder why if you can get a bus down why the goods and people don't go up by bus / lorry? I'm glad they don't of course... ps it's places like this that video comes into its own even if I regard it as witchcraft!
It's to service erosion control work, which in Japan is a serious issue; I suspect the problem isn't at the ends of the mine but the middle, where you couldn't build a road big enough to carry trucks.

That shop building is a treasure! You could eat off of the floor.
Amazing narrow-gauge video. Thanks for uploading. The maintenance and tidiness of the terminal and the equipment speaks well for the operators.
WOW!! Thanks again, John.
Nice narrow gauge railway there ! 👍👍👍👍👍🚂
