69009 arrives at Kidderminster. May 16th 2024

Just a few short clips on 69009 "Western Consort's" arrival and running at the SVR Gala. Wishing to travel on the short runs to Bewdley meant I couldn't get lineside clips too!

I think that of all the livery’s on the class 69s . 69009 looks the best. It’s a stunning looking locomotive.

It's another zombie. Just like class 57. Been ripped out and replaced to become a class 69.

It is a matter of personal opinion. I think it is possibly one of the worst along with EWS livery.

Truly awful livery. Maroon is possibly one of the worst. Because it has taken the name of a Class 52 which had this livery? Class 52’s in its day had the worst livery scheme, not just the maroon but one had a putrid brown.
