Hey Kyle, looks like it runs well. Those motors are pretty bulletproof if given even a minimal amount of proper preventative maintenance. The only things that eventually put them out of commission are low compression and loose engine mounts from a trillion hours of use. Otherwise the only recommendation I have is to get a genuine Johnson-Evinrude fuel line. Those aftermarket gray ones were always the culprit when it came to customers' engines needing carb rebuilds due to the fact that the plastic linings inside the lines would flake off and end up in the bowl.
Hey I just bought this exact motor about a month ago. I got it running and completely repainted it the original color. However the gas line on mine just goes straight through to the motor. How does your quick connect mount on the motor? I'm guess a screw or something stabilizes it on the cover? Anyways, nice work and cant wait to get mine on the water
Sweet motor! 30 years old and runs like a champ.

Sounds real nice. Some folks should just stay away from mechanical stuff...
Very very strong engine from my experience but now the production no more

Hi cole, yes there should be a male fuel connector that bolts to the inside of the lower cowl. They are readily available online.
How do you make adjustments at the end of the tiller?
It adjusts the throttle stop, so turning the adjustment clockwise will make it idle higher and counterclockwise will idle lower.
