I really hope this gets reprinted one day because I think I want this to be my first Marvel omnibus. Everyone says how great and amazing it is and the art looks incredible. I'm sure I'll love it. Fingers crossed for a reprint. Happy Anniversary you guys!

Another great vid guys! I went from being iffy about the Alred's art to absolutely loving it by the end of the book. I struck gold when I picked this omnibus up a whim and I would seriously recommend anyone to give it a read (in any way you can), especially if you're a Dr Who fan.

Will Astonishing Melanie be joining along for the Tuesday episode of ORNR? I love multiple viewpoints and usually when the majority of the readers give good reviews of a book I want to get it that much more. I never voted on the most requested Marvel reprint poll because I couldn't decide which book I wanted more or be able to keep it to just one. This is one I'm sad I missed out on when it first released and would love to get a reprint at some point. Dan Slott seems to get Marvel characters and knows how to write them. Happy Anniversary guys!
Dan slott definitely had a very interesting take on Silver Surfer. I liked is a variation on the Silver Surfer pretty much especially with the love interest. I will say it's a little bit of mcpick problems for me but I've had no problem with the story especially the one issue when it was like nightmare of sleep I thought that was really interesting on nightmare being asleep in all those nightmares were happening and if you didn't wake up it was going to be a never-ending apocalypse
I first got into buying/collecting omnis about 8 months ago and this was one of the first books I tracked down on the secondary market for only slightly above cover. Silver Surfer is one of my favorite Marvel characters, and Mike Allred one of my favorite artists. Glad I was able to add it to the collection before prices started to skyrocket over the last few months.
@@NearMintCondition Finished Rebirth storyline and 3 issues into the main series.... wow so far. Really good characters (Im mostly of a Marvel background so they (dc) are almost new to new me... any other dc must reads from this era... I plan on getting the Infinite Crisis Reprint.
Chanced across this in the now-canned (sob) Mighty World of Marvel monthly in the UK. Ummed and ahhed about the omni (I’m not keen on very big books) until it hit a price that made it wrong to avoid. It went OOP about a month later. A good decision to make that buy!
There was an OHC (bit bigger than an omnibus) released years ago, but it's long out of print. It was called Madman Gargantua! I also was lucky enough to have it signed by the Allred couple. Needless to say, i'll be buried with that book
I can't stand the art, maybe it will grow in me at somepoint but it's not happening. I passed on picking this up and have zero FOMO. Would love to see that 140some issue run of Vol. 3 in an Omni trilogy

This book is so(ooo) good. I didn't expect much of this going in it, but man was i wrong. It is one of the best stories Marvel ever published imo.
This is my favorite Silver Surfer run. Gives me classic doctor who vibes. Damn it for being out of print!!!
Damn i remember when this was about 50€. I pre-ordered it and then cancelled it for some reason. Now it is too expensive to buy.

Remember reading a few issues of this run of Silver Surfer, it was good, and this collected edition looks great.
