This was so helpful, I just started helping with an annual at my flying club today. Thanks for your great work!

Feeling kinda bad for a young guy we just did an annual for this week. Horizontal stab attachment fittings all cracked and fwd stab spar kinked.
Delivering bad news to owners breaks my heart.
But still better than losing your stab

Oh I know. It's hard to sugar coat something that could end a day badly. I feel for that guy.

@@FreedomfixerFlying It seems so many Ame's let things slide. Then when the airplane finds its way to a shop that does a good inspection. We are the bad guys. I heard a saying that the cheap guy pays twice.
In aviation its true. Luckily he's not going to pay by departing controlled flight.

Great discussion/demonstration on mirrors and speed handles. My Dad, an engineer, A&P/AI had handles for 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 bits, sockets. At -6.12 were you talking about preflights or presales?

I'll date myself bit by saying that when I got out of A&P school cordless drivers were not as abundant as they are today. The last thing you wanted to do was strip out screws on a nice corporate Kingair.
