Drop zone is a really good idea but it's not that new. On MacOS there is an app, called "Dropover" and it works nearly same. Wow, this is awesome. Great work!
I am admittedly a bit sceptical about these windows concept videos, as most of them seem to only be making the system more MacOS-like in terms of visuals.
But this? Not only did you make great, visually coherent and nice UI, you also did a lot of work on the UX.
I absolutely love the idea of setting things aside. Greatly mimics the way people work with things in real life. Instead of magically teleporting them from one place to another with copy/extract and paste.
I guess you also took some inspiration from Stardock's Fences and perhaps you also heard about that little Taskbar Groups utility. Regardless, you either took those concepts and enhanced polished and integrated them, or came up with them entirely.
It's obvious you know your thing and how to fo it well. The UI/UX, animation, presentation, audio - all top notch.
I have one idea that could add even a little bit to the presentation.
That is actions making sounds or being in synch with some "impact" in the music. Essentially, working with audio cues. It can give things weight, texture greater wow effect with build up and reveal, and so on. Microsoft uses it in their videos too.
Like, flicking a switch does a little bell ding, window expanding does something like noise sweep which is a bit like paper grinding on a desk, and so on.
Anyways, absolutely amazing work, huge respect, hats down.

Excellent work! I would definitely be with the operating system. I think it's a shame that Microsoft hasn't made a breakthrough in the UI yet. Your concept looks great, it contains exactly the points that I personally miss, including WIDGETS. Why is it still so difficult to integrate widgets on the desktop, which merge with the background and not as an annoying box on the desktop. Unfortunately, so far this has only ever been possible with Rainmeter.
Windwos has a terrific foundation that I still prefer over OSX.

I sometimes think, the people over at Microsoft don't create all of these, relatively feature rich and attractive UIs, because they try to space their updates in the long run, and add these visual flairs over, say a period of some 5 years to stay relevant. Adding all of this in one go, might require rigourous testing, may be very different from the previous iterations, making it difficult for users to navigate, and that, it comes difficult to come up with newer ideas in the next run.

Some great ideas here. The most obvious is OPTIONS so you can keep the start menu the way you're used to.
I would also like the option to keep the old control panel. That was really practical, while the new version is tedious and handicapped.

I've seen so many concepts in my life and generally, there are lots of things I disagree with and dislike. This concept however is the complete opposite. I literally love every concept you came up with and the execution is perfect. Looks super clean and even makes Mac OS look outdated.
Folders on the desktop for all the Adobe apps would be an amazing addition to Windows 11! I also love the widgets on desktop.

Albeit, Dropzone would be an awesome addition, among others, to Microsoft’s current Windows, too.
