Also, the fugu served in Japan are farmed, they don't eat the same diet in the wild and therefore don't have the tetradotoxin that was actually the whole point for risk-taking diners who liked the tingling sensation it produced(!). So for me, there's no reason to eat these fish, and I'm glad, because they're beautiful and fascinating to me. Unlike, say, the puffin served in Iceland. Which we've all seen idealized versions of in cherry-picked photos and in pop culture, but when you see them in the wild, you realize, this is just a seabird, I can definitely eat that. Circle of life. And those birds are delicious. Supports conservation efforts, too, which I hope is true of the fugu farming in Japan, but even if it just means the ones in the wild are left alone, that's a win.

As much as I like fishes and care for them, they aren't that "intelligent". It's anthropomorphism to say that they are artistic. This is the result of million of years of evolution, this build is made automatically, and is optimised for the female to lay eggs. We, humans, interpret it as art, when in reality it's a comportement motivated for reproduction. But don't get me wrong, it's still pleasent to see, and very cute imo.
