I wish I had found the Glimmer Boot Camp videos a long time ago. I've struggled with my machine and, therefore, it has been taking up space on the shelf in my craft room. These videos are so incredibly helpful. Thank you!!!!

I want to thankyou for this video. I went back to the glimmer hotfoil and played all day. I'm so much more organized now. I was rushing too much, after watching you. I had so much fun learning new tricks. Better than meditation

Wow! Where has this tutorial been??? After owning my glimmer machine for 2 years and never getting a decent foiled print I was thinking about selling it but stumbled on your video. Waiting to add the paper is a game changer. I used Neenah 110 lb laser/inkjet paper and using the method you shared it foils perfectly every time. Thank you!

I really like your method of waiting to add your paper and the top parts after you move to the die cutting machine. I will definitely try it.

I am so thankful for this video. I kept having problems with over foiling and your tips led me to the best results I've ever had. I was about to give up on hot foiling, but have too much money invested now to quit. Thank you so much for this wonderful series!

So glad to find these videos 🤩 I'm going to give the Glimmer a try. 🤔 So if tape removes the foil, I think I'll try and see if it can be used to remove over Foiling. I think I'll be better using tape than a sharp x-acto knife tee-hee 🤭

I have a new Glimmer hot foil machine but am unable to get it to dock properly. Is there a secret to pushing it in? I don’t now dare push any harder because I fear bending the connection points.

I have seen in some videos that there is a spacer plate first and then a thin shim. What is the right way to do?

You can try and wiggle it a bit, that seems to help.

Does it get easier have many uses? I m tempted to tape the platforms to stop it from shifting

@chrisarlington1792 No, it doesn't get easier. It's my understanding that the newer ones (with the newest logo) are easier to disengage.
