    Nice catch! The ET23s have a split manifold K5HL, a K1L13 behind the cab, and a K24 at the rear

    So is the former Clinchfield being used as a through route again? I know a few years back it was supposedly taken out of service toward the northern end because the coal traffic was gone.

      They reopened back to like 2017 (maybe) I'm not completely sure but they have 4 daily manifests, a few Coal Drags, grainers, and ethanols.

      @@thencrailfan7986 Thanks! I spent massive amounts of time along the former Clinchfield from the late 80’s thru the mid 90’s, especially in the fall! It was always my “go to” place when I got a day off! By the time the second half of the 90’s were upon us, I lost interest in railfanning because all the previous variety was disappearing into a sea of CSX or NS paint, and widecabs took over the mainlines! The Clinchfield will always hold a special place in my heart though!
