This video is really helpful. I've just started a new role as a Junior Control Engineer and this type of guidance is invaluable. Thank you!

Hi Richard find your tutorials great and a tremendous help but would like to play with the software to help students to prove their confidence with Triduim

Hi there, in order to get a licensed copy of the software you must pass the Niagara 4 Technical Certification Program which is a 5 day instructor led course, very hands on which is a great intro to the Niagara Framework, or work for an organisation that has certified engineers that can support you using the software.
We run the official certification course if you wish to book, but if you are already certified, you may sign up with us and you’ll be able to purchase a license through us.

Hello, Thank you for the valuable video. I have a quick question. When you create a numeric writable block, how does the block know what sensor input you are referring to? You might have a lot of sensors and numeric blocks.
    Thank you.

Hi there. I'm trying to program four parking lot jet fans to turn on simultaneously whenever the concentration of CO reaches a certain setpoint. The Start/Stop points are binary outputs and the speed points are analog outputs. I've set a greater than block to compare the gas to the specified setpoint. But I still can't seem to make it work. What am I doing wrong? Could you please help me??? URGENT!
If I can somehow send you a picture of my current program, that would be great.

I don't understand the position of the points in relation to the timer you said under or above, which ones is it and is there an order of precedence?

I really dont understand how this would apply to what youre doing. Like if you could give an example of how a value change would influence something in a real world example that would be tremendously helpful to someone who has no background in this.

he has multiple videos barging on real world examples. not to discredit the argument but i started on niagara today. just booted up and got my license straight. this video was very helpful in the understanding of placing values and getting your blocks right

@@julianbabilonia8562 hey there, glad to help. If you still need it.
Remember with CO measurements you need the sensors close to the ground since CO is 4.0 times heavier than the air we breathe.
You need to know the standard of mounting height that is by law.
Other than that, are you only using the eaglehawk or jayce?
It is imperative that your output signal is configured to the right slots

@@runartafjord8311 Hi there. Im using a jace for this.

    • @runartafjord8311

@@julianbabilonia8562 also the CO should not be more than like 10ppm or so, dont recall the specific measuring value for CO.
And try to notice where there are electrical vehicles since they dont produce any CO in the first place.
I know this was not the question but you will not have any input signals that start/stop the fans if you get the transmitter placement wrong.
