  • Hey Loves! Today, I'm bringing you another declutter, although this time it's not of some sort of beauty product! It's of my jewelry (or jewellery as we spell it down under) collection, and it's made up of some gorgeous vintage pieces as well as some modern, inexpensive pieces too. Hope you enjoy xx

I call my glasses "face jewelry" when you're blind you need them why not have one for every mood. I got those sunflowers at the hospital gift shop they get these cute like flea market tables in the food court area where they sell everything from hand made slippers to silver jewelry saw them when I was walking by and had to buy them.

The stone is totally up my alley in your grandmas earings! I had diamond earrings passed from my grandma and I took them to Jeweller. Had them redone with the diamonds to suit my skin tone as yellow gold doesn’t suit me as well as white gold. I feel it was a great investment for me for the antique heirloom that they were 💜🙏🏼

Arna, even if you don't make jewelry, a good set of jewelry tools is so useful to change up something like you were saying with those earrings or to just make repairs! I have mended so many pulled apart jump rings etc. Or revamped old pieces into new things. I have a tool set from Amazon that has wire cutters, pliers, etc

I have to tell you that you’ve inspired me to wear longer, or dangle, earrings. I’ve always thought that I couldn’t wear them with my glasses (which I have to wear all the time), but then I would see you wear longer earrings with your glasses and it looks beautiful. And after watching this video, I truly know that I have way too much jewelry! 😆

I love makeup collection videos but with jewellery I feel like the history behind some pieces is just as beautiful as the jewellery itself and I find it fascinating. I used love going through my nanny’s jewellery box with her and hearing the stories behind everything.

I love this. I am the complete opposite with jewellery. I have masses of it (and shamefully it doesn't get worn) but I'm a collector of old and new plastics and have actually done some selling of vintage jewellery primarily pre-60s. Lots of screw backs! I wish I could part with them so easily sometimes but at the same time I love them and the history, even of my new pieces as I try to largely buy from indie brands.

My name is Denise, and I’m a jewelry hoarder.😂 I love this declutter💗 Like another poster, I have a lot of vintage stuff passed to me...some of it I wear, a lot of it I remake(those screw-back earrings are easy to swap to modern lever or stud-there’re kits on Amazon👍🏻). Most of my vintage will go for sale on my site one day but there’s a few special ones I’ll never part with(that necklace watch that is so 70’s mod💗). Plus my actual “job” is metaphysical stuff, so I have boxes of jewelry w rough gemstones. Most of them I want to sell but find it hard to part with some...is it similar with ur work in the music world? Do u find it difficult to declutter musical related items? Very curious to know what types of things u find hard to part with. Super fun vid! So glad u posted(and omg yes those sunflower earrings r totes cute!!!)🌻🌻🌻

About your grandmother's earrings: you can have a jeweler replace the screw-on mechanism with a post so you can get use out of them.

Omg Arna, I tought I am the only one that distinguish between different shades of gold and rosegold! I have a watch from Cluse as well (in the rosegold shade) and it is so pretty. It is not too pink and not too yellow gold. But my problem is I can't find anything that matches, because all the rosegold is usally too pink and all the gold too yellow! :D

So interesting. I work in a jewelry store, but my collection is about the same size. Everything I own is sterling silver with very few exceptions (my wedding band is gold, my pearl studs are on gold posts, etc.) When you're talking about quality metals that don't irritate your ears, do keep in mind that base metals cannot be disinfected, replated or repaired without sacrificing the quality or appearance of the piece. 💜

Awww you have a Viking ship piece! Its a typical generic tourist style fashion jewellery and we would never wear it on a leather strap but those kind of waxy leather strands are metre-strands that costs nothing for the retailers and therefore they put pendants on them. We would ever put the pendant on a metal or a canvas fabric wire. But I love when seeing people who have purchased them! I have a 100% genetic inheritance from the exact area I live in here in Denmark and its pretty special to know your family background more than 1300 years back and know that your ancestors were in fact local vikings. let me know if you would prefer a mjølnir hammer silver pendant or silver band bracelet with rune stone signs on it if I ever find a piece for you I can send?

That is so fantastic!! I’ll definitely try to get a new metal chain for it! The reason I kind of like the leather one as it reminds me of the Maori Pounamu or Bone necklaces that often come on leather straps :) little piece of my Kiwi heritage! Ahhh I would love Thor’s hammer on a pendant 😅
