I’m loving “All of us are dead”! It’s so good! I’m 5ish episodes in at the moment. Just finished “Inventing Anna”, and that was really good as well, would recommend. My partner is going abroad for two weeks on Sunday, so I’ll be using that time to binge the new episodes of the Ozark, yay!
Crap I forgot to mention we also watched Inventing Anna haha so good!!
I watched Vikings Vahalla and started Last Kingdoms new season all in one weekend.🤦♀️ obviously I had a very couch heavy weekend. Also I LOVE BRIDGERTON. I CANT WAIT! AND DOWNTON!

I could never get into the office but I loved schitts creek! I’ve started watching superstore for a “lighter hearted” background noise when I am puttering around the house! My fiancé is so excited for the lord of the rings show on Amazon, not sure how I feel about it but I will probably watch it with him😅
When I'm having a bad day and I remember the new Downton Abbey movie release, it gets (a little bit) better, so thanks for the reminder 😊

I hope you get your sewing machine going. My sister used to sew curtains, drapes, and tablecloths etc for resaurants and homes. She was always busy with orders but had to battle the occasional machine breaking down.

We’ve recently acquired Apple+. Everything we’ve watched so far has been amazing: Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, Mythic Quest, Foundation, The Shrink Next Door, Suspicion, Invasion, Defending Jacob… It’s worth $5 to try.
Oh I did watch The Morning Show when I had a free Apple trial haha was really good!!

I just love to watch you and Alex & now Freya as well. I'm a plant person, pet person, and home interior re-design person, so your vlogs are a special treat for me. Asking you though, I've had 2 fiddle leaf figs, and one died. The one I have now is hanging on, I'm hoping it survives until our late Spring, when I can put it outdoors. I've resolved to purchase a fake one next, if this one cocks up its toes, lol. Any tips on caring for one? Do you have one--hey, a plant update would be cool--anyway, I'm evidently not a fiddle leaf fig mom. Which is strange, because I typically have 2 green thumbs. I did a little woodworking at school when I was young, but mostly just from trial and error + my stepdad is a carpenter, so helps a lot when the errors are too hard for me to figure a way through haha

You should be able to adjust the tension manually fairly easily. If the top thread is bunching up, it's the bobbin tension that's off. If it's the bottom thread that's bunching, it's the top tension. There should be a dial or something right on the front or side of the machine (depending on the kind of machine you have) for the tension. I find google is a really good resource for tension issues. Just google the type of machine you have and tension issues or something. Good luck!!!
Oh for sure, I tested EVERY possible tension option haha, also cleaned the whole thing out, rethreaded multiple times, tried different threads etc etc all to no avail! It’s definitely broken and needs a professional fix!

I love your DIY home stuff, it looks so classy and professional! And that place you went to, oh my gosh. Teleport me now please! And now on a completely different note, I envy all you "normal" folks who can watch shows such as Vikings for the plot and the thrills, without getting distracted by crappy history. As a reenactor, my blood pressure goes way too far up after one look at their vision of medieval armor...

And that is why I have a love/hate relationship with Bridgerton - so many inaccuracies in costuming etc AND THE MUSIC don’t get me started haha
I didn't watch Bridgerton, it doesn't appeal to me at all; but at least we know that this is an alternative world of sorts, unlike these shows about Viking age which are supposed to be set in the real world... (Still doesn't explain why you would tight-lace under an empire line dress though 😛 yes I watched a costume rant or two instead of the show itself 😂)
If you enjoy shows about the Norse/Vikings, you might like Norsemen on Netflix. Its hilarious and I rewatch it now and again, definitely worth checking out when you are in the mood for comedy! (It has some more vulgar humor, FYI.)

We watched first season of Peaky Blinders! It was good, but I struggled to feel motivated after that. Keen on Discovery of Witches!
Have you watched - or even heard of (I know a lot of people haven’t) - Peaky Blinders? I know a lot of people who love Ozark as you do and have found Peaky Blinders to be as good (sometimes better). Not that you need any recommendations, since your queue seems pretty full.
