Pretty sure Bismuth’s armor was actual metal. She took it off in Escapism, and wore it again in Change Your Mind. Also, Peridot was able to grab onto Bismuth’s armor with her metal powers.

I actually just rewatched Reunited today, I always tear up when Garnet has Steven in her arms after the wedding and they talk about how much they needed something so positive to happen. I also love, love, *LOVE* how they matched up actual wedding rituals and metaphors in the episode. 😊💖😭⭐

I think we undervalue the scene when Connie try to fight blue diamond. I mean Connie came from just being a lonley girl who wanted a friend and was scared of a lot of things to jumping of a pourch, riding a lion, jumping of said lion to a giant powerful alien. That's character development
Ya that's a huge point too. And standing by Steven right to the end even being instrumental in the outcome too!
If I had remembered the anniversary was coming up, I would have gotten married on the same day lol. I adore garnet, ruby and sapphire. It makes it better knowing my partner has a ruby birthstone while mine is Sapphire.

I was slightly disappointed that Sapphire interrupted Steven during the wedding vows. I expected her version to be something like

2. The barn began to pitch, the silo took a slitch! It landed on Blue Diamond in the middle of a beach!

It's honestly one of my favourite Episode. Even through i only got into the show Like 3 months ago, i have watched this one at least 3 times plus countless reactions. I just love quoting blue diamond's "you cannot fathom how much I've mourned. What THOUSANDS of years of GRIEF HAS DONE TO MD". And lazuli is just an all out badass, i love " for just one day let's only think about love" and sing it all the time... Just an all around awesone fucking Episode and really my personal favourite.
Also when steven sings to peridot he said we can think about rain is a refrence to the episode when it rains

I assumed the gems would be more panicked given that as far as they were concerned, could be dead. As mentioned, the blue aura and yellows destabilizing rays also should be brought into question.

Not to mention this is also the anniversary of Ruby and Sapphire becoming an official married couple~💋💗💙💞💍💎 The codes Blue and Yellow probably meant the diamonds aka himeworlds leaders, who would be coming to earth. So Steven at some point told the new mayor just how dangerous they were. Making sure to get people away from them as FAST as possible. Everything in the episode in my opinion was flawless from start to finish. 😎

Couple of things you missed - the friendship between Pearl and Kiki started back in Beach Party, when the two were teammates when playing volleyball; Steven's spiked bubble comes from the episode of Steven vs Amethyst, when the two were having their mock fight; Garnet's multi-punch was first seen in Garnet's Universe.
I still love the episode, especially as someone who did NOT like the whole RQ=PD reveal, however, this was a perfect finale for the conflict that was introduced between Ruby and Sapphire and gave us the chance to get to know the two a little better (though I think we learned more about Ruby than Sapphire).
Man if only we got to see both Diamonds fighting the Crystal Gems.
I think the reason blue didn't use her radiative powers on the second part of the fight is cause it just makes others feel the way she does, and she was more pissed instead of sad, so it would just make others pissed as well
Like I said, it's the closest this series has gotten to Infinity War

I saw this scene in another way. Amethyst supported Peridot so much in Too short to Ride and Peridot trying to cheer Amethyst saying see is better than Jasper in Beta Kindergarten, that they became close friends. Amethyst catching up with her old Beastie Onion's Mom, made Peridot a bit jealous.
