it is not at ready, autonomus landing test is completed, they have to check reentry from space, scramjet engine for rocket, and they have to prepare actual vechile since they are testing on scareddown model. hope it will be completed in next 5 to 10 years

Look, these kind of titles are silly. Why should America be shocked? It doesn't give respect to the hard work put in by ISRO and DRDO. The US has a seventy to eighty year advantage in space research and heavy funding. Let's appreciate them and our scientists.
This is not as great a deal as this video makes it out to be. Yes, it helps ISRO learn and gain technical expertise, but the kinds and amounts of payloads, and long term prospects of a reusable launch vehicle are quite low at the moment. In fact, the whole idea may be discarded in favor of the NSLV (Next Generation Satellite Launch Vehicle). Watch the videos by gareeb scientist if you really want to learn about all the things ISRO is doing. And just in case you are wondering, I think ISRO is magnificent, and a model for other industry and govt. labs in India. It shows Indians are capable of discipline.
Great progress, but this is a payload vehicle (space drone) and not a launch vehicle, so how can it be stated it will reduce cost in terms of $/kg launched ? A bit confused how that generalization was made.
Space drone has specific mission (deploying satellite, surveying, ferrying supplies to space station, etc). The return to earth will require mastering the heat shield on re-entry.
What's that payload. It's the payload weight which is important, as we cannot compare Maruti to BMW.

But, how much payload? And, to what altitude? You see, sending sats involves all these 3 things.
So, if for R20 crore, Bharat can lift, say 1 ton to LEO, and the US at R550 crore can lift 10 tons to twice that height, who has better technology?
