Fusion reactors and Thorium reactors are the future of India's increasing energy demands.
USSR scientist first developed nuclear fission. Later this concept became familiar with other countries. Russian developed almost all technologies later other countries got those technology
But it is believed that their source is Bharat Varsh
Don't confuse nuclear fusion with fission.
USSR gave the concept of the Tokamak reactor which is a nuclear fusion reactor.
Nobody ever achieved it till now.

Fusion can also act as a *_neutron source_* to even convert Thorium from *_fertile into fissile_* material.
Therefore fusion can even help India's fission power reactor program.
There are advanced *_hybrid fission-fusion_* reactor designs which exist on paper, even if they've not been built yet.

My friend Kaw started the same in 1978.They already had a Tokomac. It may be new reactor. I had visited it at Ahemdabad in 2017.

The heat generated in fusion reactor is 150 million degrees Celsius which is more than ten times in Comparison to the core of the Sun which is only 15 million degrees Celsius. Then how come the fusion reactor Tokamak does not melt and if Tokamak fusion reactor does not melt then why not a voyager like satellite sent to Sun for its detail study.

18 years before india developed this technology. 25 million with 1000 sec. Jo avi China and korea develope kea 100 million with 50sec. So back calculation kor avi india 100 million with 250 sec . 5 times more than China and korea . Hum China nehi je Dhol Petke bolenge bohot khuch kordea .
That's not how it works. The gap between 25 million degree Celsius and 100 million degree Celsius is massive and involves a significant leap in technological advancement. China's tokamak generated a plasma of 120 million degree celsius for 101 seconds in 2021.

India is only country in whole world that 2 main component of hydrogen bomb india can process from heavy water reactor (civil) . This is public forum that's why I am unable to tell anything more . I worked at IPR for my internship. Stop spreading fake news. For now IPR is just performing experiments. The most advanced tokamak reactor in India, SST-1 is designed for just 1500 seconds. Until now we were able to make it work for 5-10 seconds. Its going to take a lot of time to make nuclear fusion viable. For a fusion reactor, we need a reactor that is on 24 hrs 7 days a week to produce electricity for the electricity grid. It we take a couple of more decades to actually design and manufacture the a viable fusion reactor. So please, STOP SPREADING FAKE NEWS.

Dumb fellow, the first fusion reactor program is Aditya Tokamak, started in 1982 and has been operational from 2016. SST-1 is another reactor which was started in 2005. SST-2 is the most recent one. Gain some basic knowledge abd then talk.

East india has none thats suprising, another reason why east states are least developed.
Main thing is radioactive poisoning that can pollute soil and water.
Eastern region has fertile soil, good availability of water and has heavy population density.
Those yellow states has poor soil and many times face water crisis. Also less populated compare to eastern states.
Nuclear power plant needs open space. Eastern state has none.
That is equivalent if you ask why rajasthan and gujrate has most solar power station compare to none in eastern state say West Bengal.
Because solar station needs clear sky to get sunlight through out the year.
Bengal is not in that case because bengal and northeastern states receives heavy rain fall through out the yr.
