It will help crude oil trade between Russia & India. We can pay China in rupees & Yuan. We can pay Russia in Yuan for oil. And Russia can pay China in Yuan for other imports.

It is better for us to deal in rupee as we should use our own currency for international trade as much as possible so as to increase its amount of circulation and in this way we can make our currency more strong .

This means that India is not really benefiting from this scheme because we should remember that India already refused to make payments to Russia in yuan. The consequence of this decision was that Russia stopped accepting payments in Indian currency. Now, however, India will indirectly have to use yuan to purchase Russian oil.

It is Avery good proposal.
In last 5 years Yuan gained 2% against Dollar whereas Rupee fail almost 20% against Dollar in last 5 years. As Yuan is a very stable currency, only petro yuan will successfully compete with petrol dollar.
India should be replaced by Indonesia in BRICS, because India is playing a double game, they are with Quad then they want to get benefits from Asian block as well. Anytime of need India will not support China.

China doesn’t allow yuan to go down more than 2% according to exchange rates and artificially holding value high for export. Federal reserve controls value of dollar by controlling inflation which is 2% historically. China UK Japan etc invested trillions in US treasury bonds for security and stability despite having their own reserve currency. Chinese political system and monetary policy isn’t transparent like USA. China did sanctions Australia like USA and destroyed south Asian (Sri Lanka Pakistan etc) and South American ( Brazil ) economy through loans.
