I noticed a lot of people got the vivid green ones. I got a aqua frosty blue. It has a great “urban” sound! It reminds me of some the breakdance music that one of the seniors would play on the back of the bus as we drove to cross country meets back in 1985.
Hey Joseph, nice to see you, yeah, I was a teenager back in 85 and I used to break dance, this box brings back a lot of such memories, but when augmented with fx/sampling and stuff, it's a really nice pack of "basic" sounds to have. And it does the 808 style stuff so well

I really love the sound of the RD-6.
it sounds superfine! I'm preparing a sample pack for the MPCs or any other samplers.. processed with nice tube preamps (UA) at different settings..

Du coup question : il y a plusieurs petits jacks reliés à l'arrière ça correspond à quoi ? (Le jack pour output ok mais les autres ?). Thx.
@@sebastienv.1091 Salut ! En fait à l'arrière il y a une sortie général (mixout) mais il y a aussi des sorties séparées pour chaque élément de batterie (6 qui correspondent au Kick, Snare, Toms, Clap, Cymbale et Hi hat) et c'est pour cela que tu n'entends la reverb que sur la snare !
Je vois que tu connais tes classiques. Surtout Feu Drexciya...je'suis une grand fan.
Detroit, dans tous les genres... Dilla, Kyle Hall, Drex', Motown, Didley, Alice Cooper, the White Stripes, la liste est interminable :)

Interesting sound. Snappy. Doesn’t sound like my 606. I’d say it sounds better aside from the hats.
thanks, each individual instruments went to a dedicated tube preamp, that's may be why!
it's way better than the 606 in every way. The 606 was a noisey piece of crap compared to this.

The distorted gate effect kind of ruins the nice sound of the rd6, don't you think?
let me focus on it and get back at you, coz it does not have any gated fx, so I'm afraid not to understand what you're after. It does have a driven sound, but no gate involved..
It sounds unnatural, sizzling, searing and urban in all the right places to me.
The Roland TR-06 is so much better than the RD-6!

@@Audiorial No tastes ! In the TR-06, you've got kicks and snares from the 606, the 808 and the 909. Fantastic, isn't it?
@@huli8557 I'm better with a TR 606 sounding TR 606 clone that a poorly sounding tr clone with samples of 808 and 909 inside :D but that's a matter of taste I guess..
ah and for half the price :D (and I am not a behri fan AT ALL)
