Saw this this morning and it made me smile. You know I don't qualify (my new lenses arrived today) but I wanted to throw some love your way. This is a wonderful gesture, Lee. You are like fresh made rustic Italian bread. A little hard, rough and crusty on the outside but warm and soft on the inside. Merry Christmas, friend. Can't wait to meet up and shoot together.
Dear Mr. Hoy, I do not qualify, but still would like to tell you that your initiative is just great and generous. A lot of people are in need nowadays around the planet and a lot of them have dreams they can unfortunately not fulfil. I live in Luxembourg (Europe) and with my family, we do help a lot of people in need. I continue watching you and am still learning with my recently purchased OM-1 + 12-100mm + 100-400mm lenses. The road is long 🙂, but it is a childhood passion. Merry Christmas and a great 2025!!!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas Lee, and thank you so much for all your wonderful videos - I’ve learned so much from watching, and am always eager to go shooting and try to put into practice what I’ve learned! The offer once again just demonstrates what a kind and generous soul you are, bless you!

I’m really happy to see your giveaway and if not me will the winner, who cares? I’ll congratulate anyone who wins this amazing body! Wishing a Merry Christmas to you and your family! Keep on shooting!
Very generous of you and the kind of thoughtful action we need more of during the holidays. I took early retirement at the end of 2019 due to health reasons and have used photography as my therapy. Not an OM user so cannot say I have any OM lenses, but will say that I watch several people on YT including you and am very impressed with the OM system's capabilities. I am using an old Sony a7rii, but of course not ideal for birds, which is my favorite wildlife genre. I hope there will be lucky person out there who is deserving and will be able to take full advantage of the OM M1. Merry Christmas Lee and to everyone out there.
Hey Lee, You’ve captured some amazing images! I truly appreciate your no BS videos. I would like to be considered in your extremely generous giveaway. I’ve been using an EM5 mkii with my 8-25 and 12-40. Thanks for providing an opportunity for someone to upgrade.

I'm currently learning and making a lot of mistakes shooting dragonfly in flight and this EM1x will definitely help with intelligent subject detection. What a Fantastic gesture on your behalf Lee 👏 I don't qualify myself as I've just bought the OM-1 upgrading from the om-d e-m1 mark iii. Hopefully, the person who wins it will enjoy it and use it as much as you (well, maybe not that much lol) Have a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year 📷🎄🎅
I qualify, and fit almost exactly one of the personal profiles you described. I own a E-M1 Mk III and the Olympus PRO zoom lens trifecta 7-14/12-40/40-150 and the 60mm macro. But I feel like the E-M1X is a bigger step up for someone else who has a E-M1 original, or a E-M5 or E-M10. So, even though I qualify, put me last on your list of candidates. Besides, the birds I like to photo are metal (plane spotting). Thanks for your generosity.
Greetings from Sweden Lee! Thank you for doing this generous giveaway that I want to participate in! I am a 20 year old university student who picked up a E-M10 MkII together with the 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Pancake and 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 over a year ago to learn photography. It has been a fun journey so far shooting mainly landscapes, sports from time to time and wildlife if i'm lucky :) I have also experimented with LiveComp mode and been shooting some star trails which has been fun aswell. The E-M1X would be a fantastic upgrade in many ways and would pair well with the 12-40mm f/2.8 that i picked up recently. I am very intrigued by the LiveND and HighRes mode and would love to try them out for myself. Thank you yet again for doing this giveaway and Merry Christmas!
You are being considered! I love hearing from my European followers! Thanks for watching and hope you learn to love photography as much as I do! Merry Christmas!
Hi Lee, recently retired, and I have been looking at an EM1 mkIII. Don’t have it yet, but I am looking at a Yongnuo 17mm lens. I currently own a Fuji XT-3, and was going to trade it on the EM1. Due to arthritis in my wrists, I need something lighter to hand hold, so I have been looking at m43 systems. If selected, I would be willing to pass the Fuji onto someone else. I understand the blessing of doing this, as I have already given a Fuji X Pro1, and a Nikon D7000 system away. I would be able to keep paying it forward this way, and by saving on the body, I can use that money to buy some more lenses. Either way, Merry Christmas sir!
Hi Lee, I'm mostly retired but still farming a vineyard. I have a OM-D E-M1 Mark II with 12-40mm f2.8 Pro and 40-150mm F2.8 Pro with the doubler. Just this week I was thinking that maybe in a few years I could have enough money to get a new OM system body. I do love to shoot wildlife, landscape, macro, and night skies. Besides that I primarily use the camera to document Missions Trips for His Healing Hands ministry. I am definitly interested in your gift if you were to select me. Thank you for the offer and Merry Christmas.

Hi Lee, This is a generous offer and I would like to apply. I am retired and live in Brisbane, Australia. I have an EM1 Mkii camera with a 12 - 40 f2.8 pro, and a 40-150 f2.8 lens. I have taken up photography since retiring about 8 years ago and photograph mainly seascapes seeing that I live on the east coast. I started with an Olympus camera as it was affordable and while I have over the years invested in good glass I am really interested in stepping up to the EM System cameras and would love to have a chance to participate in your very generous offer. I recently had accepted a photograph of a large mangrove tree done in a Warhol style for our local Meals on Wheels recipients as a Christmas card. Would love to continue.
Love both those lenses and mate, you are in consideration! I am contemplating an OM System Only workshop in Australia in 2026 or 2027! Stay tuned! Merry Christmas!
Hey Lee, thanks for this very generous offer. I would like to be considered. I currently shoot an EM1 Mk2 which I enjoy. I have a young family (6 & 3 yrs of age) and am a sponsored volunteer worker making upgrading challenging.
I do have the following lenses. 17mm f1.8, 45mm f1.8, 7-14mm f2.8, 12-40m f2.8 Mk1, 40-150mm f2.8, 1.4x TC, & 100-400mm f5-6.3 which in my main surf photography lens. I do travel overseas a fair bit for short trips (due to young family) doing volunteer support and consultancy, surf clinics, community development, etc. Can’t go into too much detail on it here but happy to elaborate more if needed. Besides surfing I shoot landscapes and the odd event. Much appreciated. Thanks Lee
You are in consideration! Great set of lenses! And I have enjoyed great surf photography even though it isn't something I am interested in personally! I love seeing some of the crazy wave shots! Thanks so much!
Hi Lee. I would really like to be considered. I have been an Olympus/OM System user since 2016. Started off with an OM-D-EM-10 with kit lens. Eventually upgraded to a used EM1 mark2 that I still rock to this day. Lenses I own are Olympus 12-100mm f4, 25mm f1.8 and 300mm f4 - all purchased second hand. The EM-1x body would be a great upgrade for me since I can only dream of an OM1. I have been doing wildlife and bird photography for a couple of years now, and I am always out and about in nature as much as I can, no matter what the weather is like, because I need that connection with nature. Thank you for your generosity and for the opportunity. You are a great teacher, I learned so much from you. Wishing you a Merry Christmas Lee, and thank you so much for all the great work you do and all the great videos.

You are entered and what a great lens lineup! Thanks for your kind words and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
