I still listen to “Soldiers” Every day. Me and my cousin listened to it all night back in the day playing Black Ops 2 zombies everyday. Love it

My most favorite song from "Defy"! With a killer guitar solo, it would be impeccable, but it's badass anyway!
Although "Defy" had several great tracks, imo it wasn't so amazing as "Peace At All Costs" and "Sleeping Lions". I would like the next Otherwise album to be a mix of these two ones.

Holding a mirror to the world, OTHERWISE new video “Don’t Even” provides an inimitable reflection of the social and political turbulence pervading America as a back drop to some potent, pre-pandemic live performances. ‘Not leaning to the left or right,’ the imagery attempts to reflect rather than dictate the reality walking a tightrope in today’s reactionary climate. From a lyrical perspective, this may be my favorite song on the DEFY album. Denialism is the prevailing theme and the ‘denial culture’ resulting in our failure to recognize and redress important issues like racism, corporatization and environmental destruction, the central repercussion. The band takes some risks with this song - like the pre-chorus use of the politically charged snowflake; although, in context, it appears an apolitical reference to anyone who ‘closes their eyes’ to these concerning issues. I love the brief interlude ‘slaves to the blue light screen, pawns to the kings and queens’. It conjures an image of human, skeletal remnants lethally hypnotized by a phantom blue hue while intimating that our distraction is, in part, due to division purposely driven by political leaders. Musically, this song is pure Ritalin baby! It is Creed rhythmically pounding the speed bag. It is a raging adrenaline injection. It is The Workout Playlist song you want crescendoing just as you press those last few reps of your third superset. And as concerning the message may be, this song downright rips - the thrash about the house, sing at the top of your lungs, shadow boxing everything in sight ripping it! Walking the razors edge, as the band does with the whole DEFY album, this song and video perfectly captures this historical moment in time. Of course, this is not a surprise. It is OTHERWISE.

It’s a critic to the kind of people that live on a bobble where their biggest problem it’s not having 1000 Lois on Instagram whiteout seeing all that it’s going around them or at least that’s what I understood (sorry if I misspelled something or didn’t express well I ain’t a inglish speaker)
