@Vex Hey Vex, is there a budget alternative to the land base you recommend here? I don't have Cabal Coffers/Stronghold etc., would you recommend more artifact ramp in that situation? This seems like a pretty mana hungry commander, I'm not sure how I should handle this
Cutting in this deck is always super hard but if I may suggest two absolute power cards: mimic vat (multiple conrad triggers on your creature deaths because they leave your graveyard if you put em under it and the next one triggers extra when the creature is put back) And Tainted Strike (phyresis etc. If you want more) Syr Konrad on a board with 10 other creatures -> someone (or even yourself) plays a Boardwipe -> Tainted Strike Konrad in Response for the win If you are interested I can share my list with you. I'm not that focussed on the Mill win condition
@Marc T., Mimic Vat is a sweet card, I'll have to find room for it. Tainted Strike as a really good card, I might have to give that a try too. I would love you see your deck list.

I also have a Konrad deck, but it just isn't popping off the way that I want it to. I haven't played it against more than one player, so maybe Konrad is better with more players. I'm determined to make Konrad work in some way or another
This is one of my favorite decks I own as well but mine is built different. We have a decent amount of similar cards but I run combos in my deck nobody else has if you want to upgrade the deck to even more high power. Good deck tech video though.
@@vex_mtg I don’t have my list posted online but two combos I ran in the deck were Mesmeric Orb + Basalt Monolith to mill myself infinitely while using a Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre to cycle my graveyard back into my library. Also it works fantastic with Morality Shift because it shuffles your graveyard into your library again with Ulamog assuming nobody has a response to the shuffle trigger. I’ve since taken the Basalt Monolith out though because I’ve never gotten the combo off lol. I’ll try to get you a list soon!
@@vex_mtg Glad I could contribute something to your deck! He’s definitely my favorite commander. I also just added the new Archon and the black demonstrate card from the Silverquil precon deck to try it out and I like it so far. I’ll get you that list soon!
@Mr. Spock, no need for Eldrazi as I have Forever Young to put creatures back in the deck. (I think you mean Eldrazi for using it to shuffle your graveyard back in the deck).

Im so hyped! Syr Konrad was my first Commander Deck besides Precons and is still one of my Pet Decks today. Curious to see your build.

@Alex Biersner, Konrad is much better with more players and remember its a slow grindy deck, not super combo-y, except with Mindcrank.

My 1st commander i run the classic Mikaeus and Triskellion combo with this deck
