Yakuza 0 - Easy way to do Carom shot

Play alone and try to align two balls like in the video, foul deliberately. Use backward spin and pocket any other ball that is not your next ball (in my case my next ball is no.2 and Im trying to pocket no.3)

For anyone struggling you NEED to put the backwards spin on the ball. The red dot needs to be near to the bottom of the cue but not all the way

actually the correct way to set up a carom shot is to play hours and hours of pool where you just hit the ball as hard as you can in random directions until something good happens

even with this I can only do it like 1 out of 3 times, kind of weird how inconsistent the spin can be. Thanks for the trick.

It really works. All it takes is perfect alignment. For the one you are going to hit first, make sure you are able to move the red dot all the way to the bottom. This makes the White ball roll back to hit the other color ball.

What I found myself doing was getting Ball 1 at the furthest left white dot and getting Ball 2 at the furthest right white dot... then placing my white ball in the middle with all balls in line touching the wall (any ball not in line with the others will go squint). Then I aim for ball 1, put my red dot at the "bottom middle of ball 1" and just go full power! In both balls shall go! (If you are too close to ball 1 or 2 you won't be able to get a backwards spin... that is why I use the white dots for perfect spacing). Thank you and goodnight! What a pain in the butt to even setup though! T-T

Yeah, I'm in the home stretch of CP collection in Kiwami myself. The only other Minigame-related ones I'm missing are some Mahjong ones and scoring 900+ on Otometal MY Life. I managed to get the platinum trophy in 0 so its just a matter of tedium.

Deric Underthon a year later lol. I had the same problem as you but I realized that ya have to make sure the ball isn’t hitting the side of the pool table and hits straight on to the ball of focus

line up the balls where he does and you’ll get it. target ball in the middle of the 2 lights or cream circles w/e it is on the table and other one next to the hole. don’t go full power and put the red dot on the edge of the ball not all the way down otherwise it’ll spin right
