Remember, when there is smoke...there is fire And when there is fog... there is an angery Bowser And when there is Angery Bowser... there is a stage that hates you.
It occurred to me just now that Kammy is basically the equivalent of a partner for Bowser in this fight-as in, she's his Goombella of sorts. Never really thought of it that way, for some reason...
Bowser's first and second encounters have different tattle entries(as in there are 2 logged now) in the remake, same goes for the other bosses that you rematch like the Shadow Sirens and Doopliss.
I remember using the Yoshi Kid for going all the way down the stairs just to save time on my first playthrough. I almost enter the last room. It would be easier rather than just walking or running. I'm surprised they didn't play the Ship Under Attack music when Grodus takes Peach to the final room of the palace as the original did. Probably it has to fit the mood, I don't know. I'm glad they fixed the “attack” and “don't attack” responses cuz they made a mistake in the original back then.
The stage was just compensating for being so helpful for the rest of your playthrough I think. But man that was rough, that's the worst I've ever seen the stage be in the remake.
1:40 Considering his entrance, I have a thought on that; I wouldn’t be surprised if Bowser just followed Grodus’s plan of following Mario through most of palace. Maybe, while Mario was at the tower, Bowser got into Gloomtail’s room. Then, when the staircase came out, Bowser was stuck, so he probably groundpounded his way out of there, landing on Grodus.
0:18 The song that plays during this single cutscene is so disgustingly fire. Do you hear those STRINGS? Wow, that Bowser fight was... miserable, frankly. With the mention of difficult spikes capable of impalement at the end of the game as well, I feel right back in the days of Bug Fables Chapter 7.
1:40 I think it's pretty clear: Bowser and Kammy went inside the Palace of Shadow AFTER Mario, but BEFORE Grodus and co. After Mario cleared Gloomtail and retracked to enter the Tower of Riddles, Bowser and Kammy passed by, entering the Gloomtail's lair. As they did, Mario finished inserting keys and made the long corridor transform into a stairway, inadvertently trapping Bowser and Kammy. And so they fiddled around, looking for ways out, treasures Mario hasn't yet pilfered, until, I imagine, at some point Bowser got mad about the whole situation and stomped a lot, causing the floor to break. And the rest is history.
3:58 With how Nintendo treats Bowser lately, that might not always be the case. 5:48 I actually managed to kill Bowser first before Kammy when I fought him a couple days ago. 6:04 I don’t know what it was about me, but the stage was basically almost always on my side throughout the entire game. 8:42 Maybe I got lucky, but Bobbery was also able to hit the enemy in Fog. I won’t lie, I started playing this game when you were at the episode before Grodus. I am amazed that I not only caught up, but also managed to beat the game AND 100% it as of yesterday, is amazing. Now, will this fight be a couple of parts or will it be a one big part?
9:15 I guess that Boo really wanted to see Bowser be the one to save Peach for a change. Honestly, I wonder what actually would have happened in the final boss room if Bowser and Kammy approached Grodus down there instead of Mario and the partners.
Difficulty in this game really depends on how you play it As soon as you add a few little restrictions, the grodus fight can quickly become the hardest in the game, and when the stage doesn't decide it's mario kart time the bowser fight is laughably easy in comparison
1:15 Funnily enough you could say that it's exactly what ends up happening, except that the ones attacking aren't Mario and co.! 2:18 Or they could've made it so that Grodus's lightning shown during the cutscene actually did something and left you at 1 HP à la Cackletta's soul regardless of a potential level up, but that would've been quite evil so I'm glad that isn't the case. 5:04 Instead of a kiss I bet it would involve her shaking what her momma gave her which is arguably even worse! 12:02 My guess is that they would just recline with their body except for their "tail".
Since this series is not quite going to make it to 100 episodes, doing some quick math to see how many episodes Skawo's Brothership series will be. Using Mayro's playthroughs as a guide, Skawo is almost done with Mayro's Part 8, meaning it takes a bit over 4 of Skawo's episodes to get through one of Mayro's. I estimate Skawo will release closer to 90 episodes on Brothership, also not quite 100. Unless Skawo sees this comment and decides to purposefully mess with this prediction. Now on to my commentary on Skawo's commentary 3:57 This made me laugh
After helping you through the game, the stage decided to go into business for itself, resulting in that clownshow of a fight. 5:10 Considering how Bowser and Kammy act towards each other, that'd probably result in a debuff for Bowser. 11:53 Oh, they removed the music track here in favor of ambiance. I guess the music when Grodus has Peach hostage makes up for it.
Yeah this is why I think TTYD is poorly designed. After flatlining in like chapter 3, the difficulty suddenly SKYROCKETS in chapter 8! Like, how do you plan for this?! What would a first timer do in this situation???

11:52 Well, he also nicely cleared out all the big debris chunks. Didn’t want Shadow Queen’s room to be a mess for her revival, you see.
guess they DID fix the "attack" and "don't attack" responses
I'm surprised this Bowser required a second Tattle

We take on Bowser and Kammy...and pretty much everyone in the audience.
Episode 98's Title should be this:
"THE FINAL BATTLE!"
thats the lamest video title ever
@@enderallygolem lmao true
More like "And Door Was the Videogame"
The stage giveth, and the stage taketh away

11:25 also, Bowser got hit in the noggin so hard he devolved into an Ork
Man I love this game
9:38 I think you mean DK Mountain
the one where Daisy gets absolutely destroyed by koopa shells

the stage and the audience hates swako, the video.
9:33
That was DK Mountain not DK Summit
Nintendo devs be trolling you for modding their game
11:05 reminds me of poofesure

Eh, it's just, like, one time it does. And for the surprise it works good.
Now, the rest of the game
