LIVE ascent of Project Big in Flatanger

- After figuring out the beta of one of the hardest climbs in the Flatanger cave together with Adam Ondra last year, Jakob is now back in Norway trying to grab the first ascent of this king line. Stay tuned and watch him live when he is trying to grab the first ascent of this monster of a climb.

That was damn near a Heartbreaker! I can't believe he stuck it. After watching it a few times it looks like he was still able to get his finger tips behind the broken section while keeping the broken rock in his hand then he hurried up to get his other hand back in. Crazy.
That adrenaline helped him afterwards

Only live streaming of hard climbs will attract a big enough audience. I don’t think many care about someone sending their 5+/5.9 project.
@@stefslyfe Why would you complain about filming? I film every project I have, since watching yourself gives you important feedback... So what Ashhodson meant was: Nobody outside of 9b+/9c climbers is going to have drones & filmcrews following them. Hard to understand?

I was watching this together with my 3 year old son and I don't know, If he was just feeling my tension, but he was totally focused through the whole video and cheering for Jakob and we where both so happy, when Jakob clipped the last quickdraw.

Amazing attempt!!! Went super strong and powerful (we could feel in the images) despite the humidity. But wind is always a big colleague for climbers. Scary when the hold breaks. Heart over 200 bpm. BIG CONGRATS JAKOB!!! You make the difficult easy. No matter the degree. Incredible route.

My local indoor gym has " the Island " and 1 of its faces is about the same amount of overhand. I've only gotta do 1 route of about 12 moves, and I have to take 10 minutes to recover - Jakob's strength and endurance are insane
