  • This episode I completely gut the interior of the jeep and fix several items including replacing the driver’s seat cushion and cover, a window regulator, door cards, HVAC blend door, and blown speakers. I also install several upgrade items including a new headunit, EVIC module, and LED lighting.

You can replace the horn and airbag pad I did it at the counter of pull-a-part because they would not let me buy the whole airbag unit

That's good to know. The only decent one I found was at a junkyard without the "pull-it-yourself" option. They said they would only sell me the entire steering column and wheel without the cover because of liability. The goof off got rid of all weird gooeyness, but the jeep emblem was still beat up so I wish I could have gotten a nicer one..next time!

How long did the blend door fix take you? Mine wj just started blowing hot air on both sides and has coolant. I’m looking to fix mine soon.

Is the coolant fully bled? It took me a while with the heat on full blast to get the coolant bled into the heater core. If that's good and your refrigerant is good then go for the blend door fix. If you get a heat knife then it's pretty quick, just follow the directions in the kit and shouldn't take more than an hour start to finish (so give yourself 3hrs lol). I was frustrated that the new arm didn't align with the motor though...It was physically angled in a different direction than the arm that I pulled out, but the new motor lined right up with it. Maybe a model year difference?
