    meu WJ estava com um bico gotejando, o seu vídeo ajuda e anima a você mesmo fazer o conserto, aqui no Brasil as pecas alem de difíceis de conseguir são muito caras, mas para os amantes da WJ não ha limites, obrigado pelo seu vídeo.

    I'm glad that I'm not the only one to have major issues when doing the simplest jobs. Most of these RUclips mechanics never have any problems when they show you how to do something. Total bull shit.Its good to see a real video.

    Nice job! I use NGK V-power copper plug in my '01 4.7L. They will go 50K easily between replacement. Never had to touch my fuel injectors yet, but looks like the 4 hole version is a good option.

    My 4.7 2002 wj does the exact same thing, noticed that fuel injector #1 has a crack in the casing but strange thing is, I straight piped it and now it starts great every single time, kinda confused like that because it definitely has a big puff of smoke and raw gas smell when starting, and my oil level slowly goes up over time from fuel dilution

    • @getwrenching
      @getwrenching  Год назад

      Change those injectors bud it made a huge difference on starting and fuel mileage has been great.

    If that’s how the fuel is coming in to the rail I would strongly suggest you replace the fuel filter it’s located right behind the Driver side rear wheel

    • @getwrenching
      @getwrenching  Год назад +1

      Already done and it's a filter and fuel regulator. I replaced that first,it didn't work. So I did a leak down test to determine the fuel Injector.

    So my issue is i have a 99 with new plugs and coils but yet i have a misfire cyl 8 code. Would this be the next affordable step? Sounds kind of run and runs kinda rough. Thanks!

      Yes this is was my last resort so I did it and still running like a champ as of currently.

    Hi. I have a 2000 wj 4.0 I just replaced my fuel injectors with a 4 hole from a one hole, now im getting a code po172 and po175 bank 1 and 2 oxygen sensors, system too rich.
    Would this be normal for the ECM to reset for the new injectors after driving a bit, or is my fuel pressure regulator not adjusting to the new injectors? I replaced my fuel filter 2 years ago. Not sure if its a regulator fuel filter type?? Isn't my regulator on the middle of the fuel rail?? Thanks.

    • @getwrenching
      @getwrenching  Год назад

      Its hard to say but sounds like the fuel pressure regulator has left the chat. I would replace it with new and see what happens. Sometimes the ecm in these years jeeps are subject to fail as well. Thanks for watching and your comment. I hope it helps you out. Let me know what you find.

      @@getwrenching My question is, why would the regulator and or the oxy sensors go bad just because I changed the injectors?

    • @getwrenching
      @getwrenching  Год назад

      So your regulator was probably getting weak before you changed your injectors. Your o2s are just letting you know there is a problem. The o2s aren't gone just doing there job by letting you know your running rich.

    I HAVE AN 05 WITH THE 4.7L , WITH 331 k , THAT THING RUNS VERY SMOOTH, I GET A SOLID 500 RPM IN GEAR , WITH NO SHAKES OR RATTLE...A BEAUTY. BUT ITS HARD ON FUEL, SO CAN YOU GAVE MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE INJECTOR YOU USED.....MAKE ,MODEL , SUPPLIER. I'M IN ONTARIO , SO I CAN PROBABLY GET THEM FROM THE SAME SOURCE. ALSO TRIED TO CHANGE THE EGR VALVE ....HAVE A CODE...BUT IT DOES NOT ACT WEIRD....EVERYTIME I TRIED A NEW ONE THE ENGINE RUNNED LIKE CRAP....I LOOKED AT THE JEEP PARTS LIST, THEY LITERALLY HAVE DOZENS OF DIFFERENT PART NUMBER FOR THE SAME ENGINE, TRIED 3 DIFFERENT ONE SO FAR THEY ALL RUN LIKE CRAP....SO I PUT THE OLD ONE BACK, ENGINE RUNS SUPER SMOOTH, BUT LIKES GAS A BIT MUCH TO MY TASTE....ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THAT EGR VALVE ??? SEND ME THE INFO FOR THE INJECTORS IF YOU CAN. THANKS
    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

      Here's the link to the injectors I installed. They are still working wonderful but fuel millage still sucks. Its better but still not good. Your EGR problem is unknown to me as
      I haven't run into that yet with these and I did do some digging for you with little results. I hope this works for you and let me know what you find on your EGR. Thanks for watching and taking the time to message.

    Whats the best way to remove the plastic cap at 22:22 without damaging the injector?

    • @getwrenching
      @getwrenching  11 месяцев назад

      Best way is to work your pry bar around until you start to see some movement. Then continue this way until fuel rail is up and injector is free. Mine was stuck bad and original. Hopefully you have better luck then I did. Thanks for watching and taking the time to message. It is much appreciated.
