Loving all the storage and the awning looks awesome!
Yeh she's a beast🤩
Great rundown ,nice truck ,too good .
She’s a big girl! 🤣
Good job!
Thanks Mate
Awesome mate
Thanks buddy
Jealous as, I’ve bought more than a few houses that have been worth less than this beastie 👏👏👏. Well done, I’d also kill for the canopy,I brought a six K fitted Chinese one for our new Navara and all I can say is ya gets what ya pays for. Keeping in mind our off roading days are long past ,so it’ll have a pretty cruisey life. The whole rig is next level 👍🍺 if I see ya getting about I’ll say g,day and if you see a couple of old dinosaurs and a big black dog getting about in a silver and black NAV and new age manta ray mr19e please give us a wave or even better say hello. Thanks for the look about, safe travels 👁👁🙃🙃🐕🦺❤️🇦🇺
Thanks mate, we are very happy with it but as you said it doesn't come cheap, but being our home we wanted to make sure it will last the best we can.
100% will say g'day and we will definitely do the same.
Safe travels
Great layout n all the quality means less breakdowns .
That's the plan hopefully 🙏
Hey Guys, can you provide a bit of info on the canopy please? Turn around time from start to finish, rough idea of cost and weight and were Alite easy to deal with? Thanks heaps!
Hey
First of all, Alite are amazing to deal with and highly recommend them.
We got ours during covid so took longer than anticipated due to staffing issues so our experience wouldn't reflect turn around times now.
We payed $20k bit I'm sure that would be different today, but I guarantee they are one of the best priced, high quality builders on the market and weight I'm unsure of with the extras we added, but it think bare bones is approximately 100kg heavier than the tub, but don't quote me on that.
Overall I'd recommend one to anyone, we have put it through hell and still performing as I'd did out of the workshop 👌
@@trippintothemacs great, thanks heaps
@@nicolebeehag9076 no worries, happy to help
Heys just watching the rig run down (again😂) just wondering with the GVM upgrade what is the weight you can now place on the rear axle??? Have you had it professionally weighed??? How did it go??? Sorry for all the questions but we too have a 1500 ds and are in the process of doing some upgrades to tow a 3.5t van
Cheers guys
Haha👌
Rear axle weight is now 2100kg, 400kg upgrade, haven't had it weight professionally (had it organised but fell through)weighbridge said just under 3.6t fully loaded.
Only do necessary upgrades is my opinion, we went all out to travel fulltime towing our van, if I wasn't full time I wouldn't have added as much as I have haha
Induction the go ,toaster run on invertor ?
Toaster, induction, air fryer, air con 👌
Gvm upgrade. From what to what can you tow. How much did it cost? How many tonne?
Gvm upright to 3880kg from about 3420 from memory.
Approx $4000-$4500 which included engineering and airbags in rear
