Covering is not stealing. She is free to do with this song whatever she wants, just like you and me. Damian Wilson also often covers Ayreon songs (e.g. "And the druids turn to stone") and other artists have done the same.
Don't think he was being serious with that stealing comment. Pretty sure that was sarcastic. It's actually a pretty funny comment. Anneke and Arjen entered bff territory years ago, so he probably loves that she did this. Plus covers of this kind of music is pretty rare, so I'm happy.
