Just saw her at Bottlerock and was intrigued, they were the most interesting act I witnessed.never even heard of them. Subsequently I am now very much a fan. This song Flea perked my ears and I was like, I hear dominant 7s and very interesting sounds happening here. Absolutely incredible
Surprised how audible the drunk guy is. Is it a small place? Otherwise the sound seems excellent, and to hear St. Vincent & Co. in this place must have been great
@chappym2 Very small place. I have a fantastic video of Big Time Nothing, but it was a whole drunk group that made the audio pretty rough. Decided not to subject the public to that one lol. At least on this song it has room for some crowd interaction.
She has such an aggressive noise accent guitar to mic. My theory is that Klingons evolved from Fleas somehow. It looks as if she punx as if such is as much so.
Based on the audible audience I fear that St Vincent's mainstreaming has led to a change in fan base from intelligent queer to beer-guzzling young men who play wicked air guitar.
i mean i don't really care but i would say it's the other way around. she didn't even come out until fairly recently, after self titled. and before that she was a guitar god playing with nirvana reunions.
@@itsratso. Agree. Not really a debate topic but she and audience were in sync on that almost from day one. It was actually a source of audience draw in the early Brooklyn and downtown NY scene.
I love all these clips being posted of her amazing live shows. She is really getting better over time and I'm all for it.
love this era, love this new band... LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS UPCOMING TOUR. We will be blessed.
love this era? yeah no one has ever said that about now. but it is accurate for me too from st vincent to olivia, dua, poppy, and many more.
New?
Do some research.

The Paramount is quite small

No its just this show.
To be fair, she’s quite the shredder….
Jesus, they'll let anyone screw up playing guitar.
