What Radhi says is 100% true. I also noticed I became much dumber when watching reality tv and I have noticed it in the people around me. They think it is harmless fun but it is definitely lowering the collective vibration.
I have been an ardent follower of Jay and been listening to his podcasts last couple of years, I love them so much that I often re-listen to few of my favourites when there are no new episodes released . I also find the content shared by your so relatable. You both have made such a positive impact on my life and I can see myself as a better version of myself from past. Keep up the good work.
I just found your channel. I'm so happy you're Vegan. I'm 65 yrs old. I went Vegan for the animals 9 years ago. I had been very sick and probably wouldn't be here today had a Vegan not entered my life and showed me the nasty sick Cruelty I was funding and my heart and mind connected - I believe a soul connection happened and I went Vegan. Within 1 months my 6 years of Insomnia vanished 😀 Arthritis gone- I actually forgot I once had arthritis. My energy was incredible; I felt like I could run a marathon. I had a blood test done to check my B12 and my doctors couldn't speak, he kept looking at my test results from non Vegan to Vegan and I got scared...I thought there was something seriously wrong...then he says "How" Then says "your body has completely healed" ...sigh of relief! I'm so grateful for that Vegan! I do not get colds or flu. I do not get sick. I'm glad you brought up animal testing because IF animals are so much like us that they test on them that is a heinous crime - It would be no different to testing on us. Also look at pharmaceutical drugs they only keep people alive but everyone is still sick and suffering. Look at all those sick people - they all fund cruelty - torture, Death, Dairy is horrically cruel and yet Nature created breastfeeding milk to help babies to adapt to this earth then GET WEANED not move onto another Mammals milk and have hr baby stolen at birth. Bees make honey for their babies. Look at all the heart diseases Diabetes. Cancer, autoimmune, MS - if consuming Flesh, diabetes dairy & Cholesterol eggs is healthy - why is everyone sick by the time they're in their 40/50's but worse Look at the sick children. People talk about Vegan properganda except Saving Lives is something we should all strive for. Now look at all the meat, dairy, eggs properganda
Thank you Radhi! In the last few years I’ve really cut down my drinking, I don’t feel the need to get drunk when out anymore and can just enjoy one or two socially very rarely. I like to hear about others who don’t drink.
Radhi, your honesty is always appreciated! 🙌 Loved this QnA, it really helps us get to know you better. Sending you lots of love and gratitude from India! 🇮🇳❤
You are one smart girl, good for you. I experienced with drugs a lot growing up in my teens. I still smoke weed.I tried to stop a couple of times but after a while (few months) I went back to smoking joints every day. I’m 29 years old now, and I really want this change in my life. I feel like I’m stuck with my bad habits. I know how to stop but I don’t know how to stay that way. You are adorable, by the way! 😊 Love watching your videos. ❤
Hey. Take help. There is groups like narcotics anonymus. People say that you cant addict to weed but that is not true Weed just like any other intoxicant affect the brain and body and your emotions. Even weed is more socially accepted and romatices makes it harder to take this serious. You need to get clean and see how beautiful life is without it. Weed really put a lid and smog on everything making you live in another reality. I am clean now since 2 months and feel so much better. Stay away drugs Is not worth it. Meditate. Feel grate.
hey girl, thanks for sharing your story. I have very similar experience as yours --- being exposed to alcohol and drugs in my teens and early adulthood, now approaching 30 I really want to make a change in my life to stay sober and clean.
Thanks for being a role model for drinking alcohol. I’ve never drunk alcohol either and i have the same reason. Its great to see someone with a platform talking about this
SO strange, I came across your channel, went into a book shop and then saw your cookbook, I then see you have a partner call Jay, Googled him and realised I read and LOVED his book years ago!! you are amazing, love your personality
I've been listening to Jay's podcasts for a couple of years now and I never sought out your content, Radhi, and I've been missing out! You're such a fun, positive person 💛
I’m not a vegan or vegetarian. I will say that I do eat healthyish thanks to videos like yours. It’s an inspiration to me. I also don’t drink alcohol and have t for years. I too do a sparkling mineral water with juice in a wine glass. Also, thank you for your honesty.
I recently came upon Radhi's video's and really love how she simplifies vegan recipes to be engaging, tasty and well, just plain fun to make! As a vegetarian for most of my life (I had a few stints of eating meat out of necessity), it really is inspiring me to inject tasty vegan dishes into my day to day. Also, as an environmentalist studying environmental science, I think it is really important (probably vital at this point in time) to promote a plant based diet whenever possible. That being said, it doesn't in any way imply that eating meat is "wrong" or sinful or that we will be outcasted from being able to live a yogic lifestyle if we do not exclusively have a plant based diet. Over the past decade of researching, learning about the current environmental crisis along side striving to immerse myself in studying and understanding Sanatana Dharma for most of my life, if there is one thing that could distill it all down for me it is: (self-Compassion) -->(self Awareness)--> (self Accountability). It always starts with self-compassion though. Incorporating a plant based diet is an organic by-product of already striving to live a yogic lifestyle, never the other way around. Becoming an environmental scientist, especially in the line of research that I am doing (scholarly research on the detrimental impacts of the factory farming of livestock) has brought with it some very interesting and unexpected philosophical and spiritual discussions with various people over the years. Even though it was unnerving at the time (i.e. being coaxed into arguments because apparently I am a fanatic for being vehemently opposed to the indiscriminate slaughter of 10's of billions of animals in order to satiate endless human greed), it really helped me go deeper within myself. To understand this mess better, to introspect my own blind-spots in how I was communicating this essential message and really coxing me to paradigm-shift myself first via internalizing this knowledge that I have been SO fortunate and Blessed to have been exposed to. Then Expressing from that point of inflection....THIS process of introspection, experimentation, paradigm shifting ourselves first then bursting forward in dynamic aligned activity IS the essence of a Yogic lifestyle. In a nutshell: the very distinction between eating meat and not, vegan and non-vegan and the variety of other dichotomous labels themselves are a by-product of the initial Perversion itself; that human society is separate from and therefore has the will to dominate the natural environment. Thereby falsely creating 'for' and 'against' sides when none existed to begin with. Living in harmony and in-tune with the 'so-called' natural environment inherently erases all such constructed dichotomies, because, well, we ARE an essential part of the Natural Environment! True care for the environment (including care for all non-human life-forms) becomes organic, Natural then. My nature is to get to the root of things and it seems to me that this fundamental disconnect is the ultimate demise we have to come out of. The aim therefore ought to be to focus on constantly striving to eliminate these gaps wherever possible in our lives. Of course, the natural by-product of living a life that worships our interconnectedness with ALL Life would undoubtedly shift our diet towards more and more plant-based.... Thank you Radhi for creating this space and doing what you do🙏❤❤❤🙏
Hello Radhi, the way you are confident about your decisions are so inspiring, thank you for always teaching us so many things without making them bore😀❤️
Although I personally am not vegan or vegetarian, I love your insight into why you are. I do however purchase organic. Pesticides are sooooo bad for us. I haven't turned my TV on in probably 3 years. Even during the plandemic I rarely watched TV. It's better to connect with nature and other positive souls. You are a gem of a woman. ❤
Living and working in Florida, I have been cashier to some well-to-do Indians, (among lots of other cool people) and I have to say those mysterious combinations of spices and perfumes make them smell amazing!
Well done Radhi !🎉 Thank you, every time you mention something new that gets my thoughts to your channel. I would like to know more about being a night person. You mentioned it in earlier videos and yeah I’d like to hear your thoughts about night time and morning time-routine for a night person. Thank you keep going I find you inspiring ! Made your orzo meal (little bit adapted but the basis was the same). All local food from the bio farm out here. Loved it with the salad!
Wow!! I feel soo positive after watching your videos. I really love watching it. Q- do you apply gel on your hair as curly hair people apply it. Love your curls❤❤. Can you please make a video of your hair routine as in how do you maintain curls.
I want to start meditating but I have no idea how or where to begin to learn. What do you recommend? I love listening to you. So glad I found you and Jay!
Radhi, you have a beautiful soul and it shines through , your beauty is from inside and out . The fact that you are vegan makes you even more powerful and pure love . There are so many people on a " spiritual " path , BUT continue to be disconnected and use their mouth to say they are against animal abuse , but with the same mouth , eat the bodies of animals who lived a tragic life of suffering . All meat and dairy is violence , not food . I love you for being you , for understanding to spread kindness is to be vegan.
Hey Radhi, another lovely video, Dont know if you can share organization tips and other usefull tips from your business journey. Starting a product one as well and it sometimes feels a bit scary and overwhelming (despite my strong why lol) much love from Montreal
I naturally reduced onion and garlic because I was raised on it. It's so dominant in flavour that I don't enjoy the after taste. Ginger is the new garlic for me 😊
Hi Radhi I love all your videos and your confidence in being open and yourself. Can you please do a video on dealing with expectations and how to deal with things not going the way you expected? Be it education, job, a relationship, friendship or a situation, or even like an event like a party or wedding. How do you deal with it?
Just found your channel. Im loving it! Im sure you hear this allot, but your eyes are stunning. Funny story about hing....I made the mistake of vacuuming up the hing I spilled. Now my whole house smells of hing every time I vacuum. Hahaha
Hi Radhi! 🥰 Love watching your Q&A videos, feels like sitting down and chatting with a girl friend. could you do a video about your favourite night-time or morning books? also what kind of music do you listen to when you workout, drive, or clean the house?
Do you put anything else, like lemon or spices, in your morning hot water drink? Do you find that it boosts your metabolism also? You are so so inspirational and real and down to earth. Thank you for being you! You make me feel even more inspired to become my most authentic self and live a full purposeful life ❤ 🙏
Superb video Radhi. I picked up a few things to help me with being disciplined. Huh! It's so hard to be disciplined. I have been trying for almost a year to find a routine for me and stick to it! Thanks a ton ❤️
What is your top cookbook besides yours? I’ve been a vegan for 10 years and I still don’t know how to eat healthy all I usually eat is rice beans with some type of vegan meat I buy from the store. This year I really want to eat more plant based less processed foods I need recommendations for someone who is a beginner cook. I really want to learn to eat better.
I had no idea about the onion and garlic. I love garlic. Onion and garlic is like the main ingredients for desi dishes. Good thing I don’t eat desi foods everyday 😅
I love your videos! New subscriber. How did you know that Jay was the one for you? So many say when your with the right one you’ll just know but I realized from other videos there was several years between when you knew him and married him. Was there doubts or uncertainty you had to work through or communicate through?
Hey Radhi, watching you being you, motivated me to be me ❤and enjoy it ☺️ thank you so much for all your content and inspiration ❤ a question: what would you say is your comfort book? 📖 (I mean the book version of a comfort food 🍲) Love and gratitude 😘
Namaste Radhi, I would love to hear more about how your no TV is going. We do not watch a lot of TV, but it is so insane how so many people revolve around what is on TV. Really interested in this.
I agree with the reality TV! Now imagining working in an office where the women consume that kind of entertainment and than discuss about it at work and then you feel the one odd out!
Awesome adorable video! Wanted to ask do u like judge people bcoz this is something i struggle with ik I should nit judge people but then what about something that looks completely wrong to us should we just ignore?
Hi Radhi, loved it so much. By the way we share the same Birthday, same day, same month, same year, & I feel so excited about it to have sharing the exactly same Birthday with my favorite person 🫶
HI dear Radhi, Could you advice on how to best supplement for iron deficiency ? I have been vegetarian for over ten years. My recent blood work shows that my ferritin levels are at 8 :( I have read that iron from greens is only absorb at 12% maximum compare to heme iron. :((( I don't know what to do! :'( Any advices will be very appreciated!!
you can try adding spinach to your diet. like making dal with spinach ( dal palak it’s called you can search the recipe online) also you can add jaggery to your diet. after a meal eat a piece of jaggery. i am sure you will get other recipe ideas too online
Hi Radhi😊 I'm 34 and have also not had a drink or tried any drugs for the same reasons. I'm wondering if you ever do coconut oil pulling. I'm really interested in starting, but I read online that it an be harmful to your taste buds. Thank you 😊
I love smell of food. I do deliveries and it's the best when I have bags that smell (usually nice). Sidenote: why don't we have perfume that smells like food?
Me and my partner have been debating getting rid of our tv (it's really old and not functioning properly) and just not buying a new one for this specific reason (feeling dumber / lethargic). Personally, we will set up our turntable and vinyls in the living room instead, and read and listen to music. FANCAYYYYYY (and very hipster, i know). Thank you for giving us the final push and motivation to stop watching tv.
What Radhi says is 100% true. I also noticed I became much dumber when watching reality tv and I have noticed it in the people around me. They think it is harmless fun but it is definitely lowering the collective vibration.
I wonder how she feels about the Kardashians considering Jay interviewed them

What should we eat every day to be a vegan and keep iron and other nutrients and mineral levels up?
It was really useful ! Thank you Radhi ! ❤
Always sending you love like you always spread it. Sending so muchh of love on your way.
What strategies do you employ to maintain a positive mindset consistently?
I love your positivity and you are so natural. I want to know about your tattoo and is there any meaning with it?
I used to be plant based but I got so sick on it. I wish I could go back.
I love smell of food. I do deliveries and it's the best when I have bags that smell (usually nice). Sidenote: why don't we have perfume that smells like food?

Love you even more for being vegan #veganforlife ❤
This is "TV" too.

Can you make a video on Maha mantra? Why is it so important? And how to chant?
Your hair looks divine
I haven’t watched mainstream tv for about 3 years , best decision I ever made.
