The battleplan for this project was to keep the general workflow clean and simple especially in the first part of the foundational work; the idea is that you can quickly paint an army with the first part and then change gear for an important hero working on that common, uniform and harmonised base!
Of course I request some Thousand Sons paint job. I'm not sure what your opinion is on using iridescent or fluorescent colors, but some warpflame happy rubrique would be great fodder for it. I'm debating on whether or not to make two armies and scenery for a blacklight battle. I've done some pink horrors as experiments myself but still not sure about it, painting them to look like they're glowing from the inside out like a photo negative. I might be trying to stretch the physics of light too far, though. Damn materium!
I was bored and wandering about on Twitch for Warhammer, somebody I found got me onto you. We're based in the same city so I'm glad and happy to support somebody trying to survive in this city of ours.
Amazing as always Marco! i would love to see how you tackle the grey of a Space Wolf to make it more visually interesting, while not just making it blue as is often done!
I would love to see the Salamanders next. Most of the time Salamanders are in warm greens with stylized flames. Maybe we could get your take on how to do Salamnders in the opposite spectrum? Cold greens with blue stylized flames? maybe two models, showing one of each? Thank you so much for your work and effort to teach this community!
I cant describe how much watching your videos has helped my understanding of colours, lighting, setting and the story each model is trying to tell. Also the first artists ive ever subscribed to on Patreon! Thanks for your passion and contribution to the world of miniature painting Marco!
Awesome job ! I want to go back to painting minis when I watch that kind of quality videos. And your italian accent make me want to learn the langage xD Keep up the good work, cheers from a (french) neighboor
Hey Marco, I love the work you’ve done on this!! I was so inspired that I just had to try the metallic ink concept on my Dark Angels and I really think it sells the theme 😁 Thanks a bunch!!
Spectacular work as always Marco, may I direct everyones view post gazing at the amazing model down to the fantastic base! I watched all your other basing videos, but I hope you do some more Marco. It really ties into the atmosphere you create. How about a Salamander around molten lava would also excellent.... or a Night Lord surrounding by flayed bodies!
Great video as always Marco. Makes me think i should be practicing rather than just watching others paint! I'd like to see how you'd tackle white heresy era death guard. I find it visually one of my favourite schemes for space marines and they have a lot of room for weathering and corrosion.
Great work again marco! Always awesome to see what you come up with and how to apply it to my own painting. And to try and push to get better. I would love to see an alpha legion. Embedded into a loyalist chapter. Shifting to reveal the chaos that is within. Have a good one!
Hey Marco, I would like to see you paint Sons of the Phoenix. First, because I love their scheme, secondly because I keep struggling with realistic whites
I've been looking for a Fantasy Chaos scheme for a while, and this 'slightly metallic contrast black' may just be the key. Thanks for another great lesson Marco!!
I so want to see you push the Charcarodons to the bleeding edge that they deserve. The chapter is so awesome, and would be a great way to demonstrate freehand
I enjoyed my Red Corsairs army. Not only because Huron Blackheart was cool, but it's in theme for new renegades to still wear some of their loyalist colors. So it made sense that I could just paint individual marines in whatever color scheme I chose.
Great video Marco. I'd love to see either Word Bearers or World Eaters up next, trying to add depth to red armours without having them turn orange or pink is always a challenge.
Another amazing mini, Marco! Would love to see you paint Salamanders Next. Also I have a little twist for my request - would you be able to paint them in the Badab War colors (yellow armor with black stripes, the same pattern some Salamanders lizards have). It's a tricky one to pull off, but everything is possible for you.
Another masterpiece! Would be cool to see a very clean Guilliman vs an extremely grimy Mortarion next, just to get to compare the techniques you'd use for them.
I asked a long time ago about painting a word bearer, I believe in response to the Khorne Berzerker awesome kitbash video you did. It is an entirely different red, and a legion that offers a lot of artistic choices in regard to freehand. So I will ask again for the bearers of the word!
I would love to see another ultramarine, that video was my favourite. i would be interested to see how you would paint one now compared to how you painted it then. that video caused me to go out and buy a £20 bottle of 120ml golden high flow florescent blue. I am currently struggling to finish my first model literally have 40 models with paint on them to various degrees and none finished. love your channel and hope you continue making high quality videos
Amazing video as usual! Personally i'd love to see some Salamanders, they've been underrepresented a lot in my opinion. Also some deathguard with a pale, maybe tending to a blueish grey power armor would be cool :)
i would love you to show off your kitbash and sculping muscles by making a miniature for a character that doesn't have one yet. Like Akilios Zanaris from the silver templars, his heavily scarred/burnt face would draw a lot of attention and would give you a ton of playing room for painting.
Do the Alpha legion next pls :) They have such a nice, clean and unique color scheme. I'm going to start collecting them next and your takes always inspire me.
We already saw Black templars, Imperial fists, Blood angels, Space Wolves and Ultramarines, didn’t we? While I’m not against new approach to these, it would be nice exploring different color schemes as well. I vote for Green - being it Salamanders/Dark Angels/Aurora/Raptors or whatever else is fine, as long as main color is some shade of green but not Sons of Horus green :)
Bloody hell. Just incredible. I’d love to see your take on a Harlequin, the shadowseer box art is a bridge too far for myself - I’d love some inspiration to get creative and create and my own theme/ interpretation.
Excellent work! So much information in this video, think I'll watch it again! :D As for the chapter, there is lack of grey knights videos, so if You would make some, that'll be amazing!
I would love to see how you tackle blue color schemes. I don't wanna say ultramarines but they're about as blue as they get! If you have a personal favorite chapter with a lot of blue I would love to see them.
I am pretty irritated - I was seeking a cool way to do chaos space marines ... and I started working on them. Your blood angels way on them .... and then you show this - now that I am 65% done with my start collecting box. Why yu du dis? Excellent tutorial - I hope to grow to that skill level one day - training it is :) . You are an amazing source of inspiration :)
This would be awesome, I have 5k+ points of 40k DG build and based and I have been experimenting with speed paint grim dark techniques for an year without settling on a single producing good result and still being speed paint. Something in style of Kruleboyzs speedpaint video would be great!
Hey Marco, have you ever painted Tyranid models? I'd totally love to see a video on how a legend like you would go about painting them. If it's a color scheme that resembles Abathur from Starcraft I'd literally throw money at the screen to see that!
You can find a bit of check patterns here: ruclips.net/video/Fr-DSXVIpOk/видео.html and in this very old video here :) ruclips.net/video/F6I6Iz973Is/видео.html
I simply love the way you paint. That's all. Thanks for allowing us to witness it!
You're the DaVinci of the miniature world. It's unreal what you're able to accomplish while simultaneously making it look trivially easy to do.
😊😁😊😘
The principals are simple the execution is masterful
With every video you release, I begin to understand more and more on how to paint models with more contrast and more detail.
Just beautiful. Thanks Marco another injection of inspiration in support of my hobby. It genuinely lights up my day.
I love the way you understand painting. You are probably the most smart painter I know. Really looking forward to trying this at some point.
Absolutely amazing Marco, as usual. I really love your Abbadon. TOP!
My Space Marines mojo is back 😆!
But is your frilly trim mojo also back?
@@echtervogel hahahaha you definitely need to have both at the same time or the magic doesn't work on Chaos Marines!
pls paint Mortarion or Magnus =)
@@RedAnubiZ I second Magnus.
27:29 you put the way I feel about painting space marines PERFECTLY. That's exactly how it feels to paint them for me sometimes
True artist. Thank you for the video. You keep being an inspiration!
This is easily one of your best models. I can't believe what a great job you have done. Thanks for sharing!
You are certainly an inspiration. I am a huge fan of your work. Please consider doing a few videos of Word Bearers w GW paints, specifically contrast.
I’d love to see your take on some Thousand Sons but with a more muted, less vibrant colour scheme. Almost like a Grimdark style.
No! Must be crazy warp happy nonsense!
Would love me a good done Word Bearer, with the heavily inscribed armor, cheers on a great video again :) thx a million :) :)
Yeah, I'd love to see how he tackles the writing all over the armor; thin white lines are alright but I'm sure there's more nuance we can do!
Outstanding volumes and light work. Great result, not that I was expecting any different lol
The Best abbadon i see. Congratulations. Eres mi pintor favorito

You’re a wizard Marco!
I would love to see how you would paint Word bearers as I make my way through my army.
KILLING it Marco!!!!!!
Amazing as always Marco! i would love to see how you tackle the grey of a Space Wolf to make it more visually interesting, while not just making it blue as is often done!
I assume this man is a golden demon winner? because his understanding of and level of painting are in a true master tier
I've been packing up my work desk getting ready to move house, but this is exactly the inspiration I needed to finish my Black Legion first!

Thanks for your passion and contribution to the world of miniature painting Marco!
Beautiful paintjob and technique as usual! Thanks for the video, Marco!
This man is a magician.
Thousand sons would look great!
Idea for whats next? Alpha Legion! Would love to see those colors being used.
Espectacular! 👍👍
You never cease to inspire.
I'd love to see a new Blanchitsu project, perhaps on the Blanche inspired Black Templar Castellan model.
This is absolutely stunning!! Well done! I'd love to do something half as good as this on my Constantine Valdor model!
Awesome job ! I want to go back to painting minis when I watch that kind of quality videos.
And your italian accent make me want to learn the langage xD
Keep up the good work, cheers from a (french) neighboor
this time you really show us the level of MAESTRO you are. Wooooooow!!!!!!! White Scars I think you haven't done totally white.
I always want to see Emperor's Children. I love seeing every person's take on the pinky noise boys.
Hey Marco, I love the work you’ve done on this!! I was so inspired that I just had to try the metallic ink concept on my Dark Angels and I really think it sells the theme 😁 Thanks a bunch!!
You're the Bob Ross/Michaelangelo of miniatures. I approve of your heresy.
Marco, wonderful work as always. Your work is inspiring and makes me want to be a better painter. Keep up the fantastic work!
Absolutely stunning! I am about to embark on a Night Lords project & I would appreciate seeing your approach to the colour scheme!
I would love to see some Salamanders! Either girmdark or something brighter for their happy disposition ;)
Subscribing to your patreon is totally worth the price of admission.
I would love to see you paint Trajann from the Adeptus Custodes. Thanks for the amazing videos!!!
Spectacular work as always Marco,
may I direct everyones view post gazing at the amazing model down to the fantastic base!
I watched all your other basing videos, but I hope you do some more Marco. It really ties into the atmosphere you create.

Mortarion (the 40k version) would be awesome to see tackled with your mindset =)
Great work again marco! Always awesome to see what you come up with and how to apply it to my own painting. And to try and push to get better.
I would love to see an alpha legion. Embedded into a loyalist chapter. Shifting to reveal the chaos that is within.
Have a good one!
I'd love a Night Lord and how you approach their lightning bolts and flayed skin.
Hey Marco, I would like to see you paint Sons of the Phoenix. First, because I love their scheme, secondly because I keep struggling with realistic whites
Give me them death guard!! Pallid hand/heresy era colours please and thank you 😂
I'd like you to paint a model from the Alpha Legion, perhaps Alpharius even since he definetly fits the big power armor part of a marine.
I've been looking for a Fantasy Chaos scheme for a while, and this 'slightly metallic contrast black' may just be the key. Thanks for another great lesson Marco!!
Blood Angels, please!! I’d love to see something similar to your Imperial Fists video for them!!
I so want to see you push the Charcarodons to the bleeding edge that they deserve. The chapter is so awesome, and would be a great way to demonstrate freehand
Awesome job, though 17:23 is like "Draw two circles, now draw the rest of the owl" in terms of how amazing that transition is.
Same thoughts here! First I was like: "Oh, an orange mess!" and then: "How the hell...?" 😀
I enjoyed my Red Corsairs army. Not only because Huron Blackheart was cool, but it's in theme for new renegades to still wear some of their loyalist colors. So it made sense that I could just paint individual marines in whatever color scheme I chose.
This is an amazing and inspiring paintjob. As a Blood Angels player I'd love to see you painting some character from the glorious 9th legion!
Would love to see you do Nightlords grimdark style.
This would be another amazing idea
I second the night lords idea
Night Lords next please, I’d love to see your take on them. They can either come out really goofy and over the top, or as the coolest ever
Really nice painjob Marco. As always. Hoever, i got really curious about the Acrylic Guache you are using. Do you want to elaborate more on that?
Amazing Video. I hope you tackle Night Lords next!
Gotta love that TMM
Great video Marco. I'd love to see either Word Bearers or World Eaters up next, trying to add depth to red armours without having them turn orange or pink is always a challenge.
Sons of Horus would be great to see, on the 30k theme… perhaps with a nod to Luna Wolves 😉
Another amazing mini, Marco! Would love to see you paint Salamanders Next. Also I have a little twist for my request - would you be able to paint them in the Badab War colors (yellow armor with black stripes, the same pattern some Salamanders lizards have). Alphalegion!
Edit: Also, it's always such a joy to watch you work! Fantastic and information-dense as always! Don't ever stop giving me videos Marco!

Marco is "Tip for Tap" with Vince & Sam as far as favorite painter
Bloody hell. Just incredible. I’d love to see your take on a Harlequin, the shadowseer box art is a bridge too far for myself - I’d love some inspiration to get creative and create and my own theme/ interpretation.
I want to start harlequins for ages. So that would bei great for Inspiration
😚😚😚
So uh, how many souls are required to be sacrificed to achieve this power? This paint... Art is fantastic 😍
Amazing
Excellent work! So much information in this video, think I'll watch it again! :D As for the chapter, there is lack of grey knights videos, so if You would make some, that'll be amazing!

I want to see pre heresy Dark Angels with lots of little freehand details like swords, wings and checkers 🖤
With World Eater codex confirmed I would love to see a Marco level Kharn the Betrayer.
I'd love to see you do something similar on an Emperor's Children Legionnaire. Loyalist or Traitor...
another vote for this :)
youre very talented
I'd Love to see your professional work on a NightLords Legionaire
or 1 of the Iron Hands Iron Father's from ur point of views
Would love to see a patrol of DeathGuard speed paint

It looks amazing, but I'm a little surprised that there wasn't a dive into oils!

How about some Blood Angels or Thousand Sons? Lots of interesting techniques and colors to show off.
I'd love to see how you would do a checkered pattern.

@@MarcoFrisoniNJM perfect, thank you so much!
9:55 This looks like a chaotic space wolf 🐺🐺🐺
They're all closeted Khorne dogs, anyways.
Really curious how you would approach schemes like the Howling Griffons or Novamarines
Maybe some Vampire Italian Marines that go by Blood Angels next!! What better than Marines named after classic painters for an art project.
I would love to see your take on Lightning from the Night Lords Legion!
Wait, a Marco video without an oil wash? Heresy. ;)
Let's see some Mantis warriors!!!
