Lol streetfighter look way better than this and Z1000 had this design long ago This bike looking like a cheap copy cat of z1000 and yes z1000 still look way better than this new cb
After all the new releases of "polarising" motorcycles that have "innovative" styling, it´s a great pleasure to see Honda still delivering one of the best looking bikes to the market. This is such a pleasure to look at!
YES! In the age of overpriced and overhyped bikes, this is exactly what riders have been longing for! Everything you need, nothing you don't, reliable technology, a thrill everytime you start it up, power without end, hell of a design and a banger of a price. Chapeau Honda, i did not think you still had it in you. Only thing... regarding the exhaust... well... let's say we don't talk about that ;)
To be honest it looks like it only has a cat in the mid pipe but then most of the silencing is done in the slip-on which should mean... easy upgrade let's hope :)
yeah in terms of styling, this is better than the Z900 Kawasaki released yesterday... I'm not in the market for a bike like this, but the last gen Z1000 was the best looking 1000cc naked
True. Even if i think cruise control is most beneficial on sports bikes because it helps relieve the aggressive rider position. Isnt a deal killer. Would have liked a better display though. This one looks really basic compared to Africa twin.
Agreed. I will buy this bike in a couple of years when I outgrow my CB650R and I hope by then they will have cruise control and 6 axis IMU on this bike.
Agree 100% but I fear like the 750 availability will be denied to US Honda fans. Both the 1000 & 750 would suite the US market and if Chrysler's copyright ownership of the Hornet name is a problem please just relabel these bikes and send them to North America!
Just made a prepayment to be one of the first of 8 in Israel to enjoy this bike. Thanks Honda. You brought me back to riding after 4 years of sitting in a traffic jam in a car.
This looks fantastic. I’m riding a CB650R which I bought new about 8 months ago so I’ll keep riding this for a few years but the CB1000 Hornet might be my next bike in 2-3 years. One thing that is missing from this bike is cruise control. I hope they add this in next year. It’s just handy to have if you are riding cross country and need to rest your wrist.
Honda knows how to build a good bike. They are just at different level than other manufacturers - something about them I can't describe but only feel when I'm riding.
They OG Everybody has what I called in an earlier comment Best new thing syndrome and fixated on a few extra horsepowers dude they don’t know what they’re talking about. Give me the Honda.
I´ve had three Honda´s and not one has let me down, sadly I cannot same the same about other motorcycle brands. This one will be a great seller worldwide, can´t wait until it arrives to my country, I will get one for sure!
What is the deal with these bikes not being available in US is Honda CB 1000 hard to get too?? Or just hornet ? Why! you can’t get cause I’ve heard the same about Honda CB 1000 too but they are here
bigger windscreen like available on the 2024 MT09 would be nice, this windscreen does nothing, its not even covering the backside of the display. I would love to compare this SP to MT09 SP and try to buy one of these.

Honda is OG the first cb bike!!/naked basically! This bike is a marvel. It’s thinner more elegant and doesn’t try has hard to look intimidating like OTHER bikes. It’s a little smaller but once you see it in person and once you RIDE it, my goodness !!! Noting like a GREAT MOTORCYCLE!!! Same for the hornet I’m sure of it. A lot of it is best new thing syndrome well guess what this bike is underrated the best new thingso is the hornet. I’m sure of it a motorcycles
It ticks a lot of the boxes, though it's a little on the heavy side (212 kg wet). One of the best looking motorcycle around, and that comes from a Ducati Panigale rider
Hello Honda, is it a race ABS module in the SP version ? 🙂 Because Brembo brakes without a very sporty programmed ABS module are not exploited at their full potential, and that is a shame. This is a common downside of Japanese sports bikes. The ABS module is too gently programmed. The latest race ABS module from BOSCH is a must for people buying a 150 horsepower motorcycle like this 1000 Hornet ! Hope you will hear me. Have a good day Honda workers 👍
And congratulations for having equipped the SP version with the Ohlins TTX36 rear shock and the Brembo Stylema calipers ! That's what European riders were waiting for the 1000cc Hornet ! 👍
youre well informed and an experienced rider I guess, that's why I would like to chat with you for a few rounds. I do not 'know' on the race ABS module from Bosch, but I certainly think that it does not come with it at that price level. It does not even have lean angle-dependent systems for brakes and traction control. I read those information on a german webpage which has commented on the Hornet. But what really strikes my interest and even astonishes me are those 157 HP! And an enormous torque of 107 Nm. This much torque would give you goosebumps. The other thing is, I think the top speed is locked by 230 kmh. The website says so, and Im quite sure that Honda did it on purpose bc it could go way faster. Must be poor aerodynamics and thus the instability at high speeds. So the question is: Why not go for a Yamaha R9? R9 lacks power but has quite almost the same torque, even at a lower rpm range. It comes with much better electronics, such as a sophisticated IMU for lean angle-dependent systems for brakes and traction control. Im sure the R9 does have a race ABS module bc it was invented for the race track as well. And the bike has much better aerodynamics and a higher top speed I guess. The R9 is also much bigger, and the shape / structure of the brakes, the fork angle etc. also plays a significant role in braking performance and acceleration. Do you think a R9 would beat the Honda in a 0-100 kmh race? And a 60-160 race? Let me know all your thoughts my friend. Im inbetween the Hornet and the R9 now...
Aw man, this bike doesn't have the air kit design like the CB750 Hornet's rear seat, but I still love the new generation of the Hornet family, Looks very good IMO!
Smart move by honda by releasing a 1000cc thats cheap. Most new bikes are going too crazy on specs and price keeps on going out control. now this is reliable for sure
@@HondaMotorcyclesEU Great! Love my 03 954 and thinking to get a new cbr600rr. I'm one of those few, weird people, touring on sportbikes... It would be a dream come through if you'd add cruise control to the 600. Even if as an accessory. It can't be that hard.
