Somi has such a beautifully unique voice. I feel like she’s finally getting the level of recognition for what a talented, hard-working queen she really is. It’s wonderful to see her shine 💙
did u catch the reference to Jennie's ''Solo'' at 3:21? shes so cute and this concept fits her really well, also the police officer is her father IRL :D
Somi is looking more and more like Gwen Stefani :D Love the MV, not so fan of the song (good one but not as good as her more punchy ones IMHO) PS : 5:24 man 6.7! :D
When I was growing up, it was "You Ought to Know" by Alanis Morissette. In the generation after, it was Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River." Now I think this generation has its ultimate breakup anthem. My daughter is about 2 years old, and I'll be playing this for her nonstop. The moral of this story: stay away from boys for a very long time :)
Please check out and react to more Now United. Here are some of their music videos ( Ikou)(Fiesta)(Lean on me)(Dance like that)(Future Me)this is just a start
Great song, very catchy! The video was really fun! Several homages to Blackpink in the video. I can't wait to see her live versions on all the Korean music shows! She's a great performer! She knows how to perform live and work the camera with her facial expressions and the way she moves. Very talented!
Pls react sb19 songs like "what" mv amd 'bazinga' mv..pls im hoping.thnk you so much.i appreciate if youll do..more power to your channel..thnx a lot...😘😘😘💖💖💖🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
The point of the MV is aftermath of heartbreak which is Grief, If you've been cheated I bet you have think how to murder your ex. This is basically the imagination of Somi written on her notebook at the last part. She writes how to k*lol her ex for cheating/ ghosting her.
I bet the Strong Ex/Moving on will be on her next MV if you can see on the end, it says there is a continuation. This a roller coaster story of a teen who became an Adult- as per her 1st Debut titled BIRTHDAY. Finding Love in WHAT YOU WAITING FOR. In a relationship in DUMB DUMB. And now her 1st heartbreak in XOXO. Let's hope here next MV is Moving on, as a Strong Adult.
It's a producer thing. They've had Teddy working on Somi's songs since she moved to the black label. And he's kind of known for making very similar songs. So yeah, it could easily be changed to fit Blackpink but Somi worked hard on the song and participated in the writing and it shows. (I'm dying imagining blackpink covering this though, they would kill it)
This is just the perspective of an Korean American musician and creative director: I love Somi because she is such an anomaly. I probably am not as affected by her very sensitive personality (I think I’ve seen her cry more than any other KPop star) because she’s around the age of my daughters, and she seems to have grown up close to her family unlike many trainees. She’s got real potential to survive the KPop lifecycle and do something more. And I love the song, but this video, in my opinion, is a total miss. It’s not going to translate well to many US audiences apart from KPop fans, and I’m not talking about lyrics. “Dumb dumb” was great, and again, I like this song…just not the video. It’s a cultural mismatch and a little tone deaf to what’s happening in American media right now. And I understand that the US is not the only target market, and maybe not the market at all. Anyway, just one man’s opinion…nothing for anyone to get angry about.
The Design/Creative team might think of a concept of a Teen Rebel. But again I understand the MV director wherein they put here all 5 stages of grief denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. All the scenes are just coping mechanism for getting back on her ex after he cheats on her. I mean for me, I think a lot of scenes how to k*ll an ex. But again all the scenes are just SOMI's Imagination (pertain on scribble on her notebook on end part).

So the ex-boyfriend is the same one that acted her boyfriend in "dumb dumd", thats funny! He has now officially become the ex-boyfriend.😂
She's really getting to express herself more and I can get into it. Glad that you enjoyed it, too!

I had a feeling I've seen him.Although I don't listen to her much, after watching Descendants of the Sun he looked familiar :D

그래서 소리를 최대로 올려서 들어야 한다는 단점이 있어요
목소리를 조금만 크게 해주시거나 마이크 볼륨을
높여 주셨으면 좋겠어요
U know there is her dad on her mv 😂

I love your reaction! could you react to new song by DKB? it is called 'Rollercoaster"
Plz react to CL tie a cherry and let it songs
About the storyline, its his "bestfriend" hehe
Wow, they could have made this a lot better by making her out as the STRONG EX instead Of the PSYCHO EX!
The point of the MV is aftermath of heartbreak which is Grief, If you've been cheated I bet you have think how to murder your ex. This is basically the imagination of Somi written on her notebook at the last part. She writes how to k*lol her ex for cheating/ ghosting her.

You don't seem like yourself Sera, are you okay? :(
It says he cheated with HIS close friend, not a friend of hers

My only issue with the song is that it sounds exactly like a Blackpink song. I was picturing BP members singing while listening.
It's a producer thing. They've had Teddy working on Somi's songs since she moved to the black label. And he's kind of known for making very similar songs. So yeah, it could easily be changed to fit Blackpink but Somi worked hard on the song and participated in the writing and it shows. That’s somewhat true but I think this is her best song so far. Shows more of her range

Her tittle track for now I think she is targeting the korean market. Since most of the lyrics is in korean as well.
