I also felt Solar's solos have been the most like Mamamoo sound which is great. But different than Mamamoo she hasn't done any belting or her signature power in these title tracks, carrying them with her other vocal skills. It's an easy life when you're a Solar bias.
Mamamoo is easily one of the top 3 girl groups in K-pop today and all the members have talents that complement each other, yet allow them to do their own thing too, which is cool.
Solar is my favorite singer but Mamamoo is definitely a rare group, being able to be both a group, pairs or soloist all at the same time and somehow you can tell it is mamamoo when it is just one member and you can tell each individual memeber when in a group. Amazing talent. I am an all in the Solar system so I am biased, this is my favorite comback. I have also seen a live performance video of Raw and Honey. Well now the wait for a mamamoo comeback.

They never stay at comfort zones, they shock listeners with each comeback. They don't shy away from making fans a bit pondering. I respect that so much since nothing is more exciting than watching your favorite artist growing & expanding. Be prepared for Mamamoo 3.0 ver.

I think part of that "mamamoo" aspect comes from the producers she works with who are Kim Do Hoon and Cosmic Girl amongst others (Mamamoo's producers especially KDH since debut) where as Hwasa works mostly with PWS and outside producers more recently. Moonbyul works with RBW producers but mostly others that aren't the lead in mmm work. Wheein used to, like Hwasa worked with PWS and a few outside writers but ofc she's thelive now.
I love this song and performance, I am SO proud of her! I know the solo stuff can be way more work for anybody to handle but she knew that already because of Spit It Out (actually in some behind-the-scenes footage, one member of BLACKPINK talked about how much harder it was without the rest of the group there to help. Was it Jennie that said it or was it Rose'? Regardless of who said it, the sentiment is there). But now Solar has a mini-album and not just one song, so she will be busy on a whole new level for a little bit! I hope she was ready for all of that! I am sure Byul-yi helped her with some things but really, the full responsibility would be on Solar (even more than when the group has a comeback). I like Mamamoo but I wonder if they are failing to reach gen z fans. On Melon, Honey is charting in the 200s and Hwasa's I'm a B peaked once in the 70s. Wheein is still in Mamamoo, but not in RBW, and did better with Make me Happy in the 60s and sold double Hwasa's album. Moonbyul's sold the same yet didn't chart on Melon at all. I wonder if RBW is holding them back from gaining more fans.

The composition of the song is lazy, lacks effort and lacks originality. It basically is a copy of Mamadol's Wooah Hip which was a pretty crap song too but at least HONEY isnt heavily auto tuned.

Solar has been belting since her debut days and it's nice to see how she adjusts her voice to different genre. This is music. Ranks doesn't matter here. People enjoy the arrangement and rhythmic vibrations here. Solar managed to bring out different genera which is itself a result of hardworking and dedicated ideas. Also, I have heard Mamadol's Wooah hip. It is not similar or any way copied. That song is different and this is different.

My rank for the song is me taking a jab at RBW composers. On Mama the Idol, 2 RWB composers were vocal mentors on the show and they would rank the vocals of the members giving them a Good, Average or Bad rank. From what I see on the show, they're not very good composers and they say some pretty stupid stuff about vocals and I hate them for producing WooAh Hip.
