People just can't stop hating on Microsoft. Whatever this company does. People are insanely blinded with Marketing plans of other companies. Personally, I will never forget that my first contact with technology was assured by this company. Those guys made technology available for everyone even in third-world countries life the one I'm living in. I'm so grateful to Microsoft for that. Yes, Steve Balmer period had a lot of difficulties I don't like the guy either. He's just a screaming guy with no vision. But I salute Nadella for his efforts. He's trying to fill the gap in innovation, there is no better vision than the CFMF. To sum up Microsoft doesn't suck. Microsoft is the godfather of technology. Microsoft made the first steps into personal computing. Thank you MS.

this would be a much better choice than the Mcbook air having experienced both surface pro 3 was definitely the choice. I have th i7/512 GB with the keyboard. the keyboard should have been included though

Wait you said you wanted windows 7 for this tablet?
Thats not a good Idea, I would understand if this was jsut a laptop or desktop review but windows 8.1 is the best os out there for mobile devices like tablets. It has great touch integration and has a foot print the size of an ant compared to windows 7.

Only thing is the one side of upper area is damage. My only concern is that even it’s broken upper side this screen and touch is working fine. Isn’t it? Please reply with best opinion. Thanks

I can get a windows Surface 2 for £200. I've been debating on if I should or not especially since I have an Ipad. It was really to just make my University work easier as everything is done using office tools. I currently have a first gen ipad air

I'm confused about getting pro 3 or macbook retina 13 inch? I need it for school and for entertainment. Which do you think is the best choice and why?
Just got my first Surface Pro 3 and was very impressed with the form factor using it as a tablet PC. I did not try the surface keyboard flap cover yet only on the retail demo models.
Use case BUSINESS, verdict I'm taking the Surface Pro 3 back to the MS store for full refund due to one key BUSINESS requirement, NO INTERNAL INTEGRATED 4G LTE radio options for the SP3! WTF MS!!!
Hoping MS corrects this oversight on next generation Surface Pro 4 models...
I will say using the 12" SP3 with fingers and digitizer pen works extremely well, better than I expected for a MS product anyway.
I upgraded from Win XP to Win 8.1 about a year ago, and I am very happy with it. I don't know what's the big deal about Win 7. Win 8 works flawlessly and extremely stable. I am yet to have to do a hard reboot. I just got Win 7 at work and am not a fan.
You really want thinner bezels I think they are fine since it's a tablet you need a place to put your hands
Nice review! I have thought about buying a Surface Pro 3 before but I just dont like the keyboard at all. If I were to use it on my laptop it would be uncomfortable. If it had a keyboard like the Asus T100 then I think it would be much better since that keyboard is much stiffer and done not need a table to use. Other then that I think the Surface Pro 3 is a powerful and overall a beautiful. Thanks for the review:)
can this tablet replace the laptop? can be use for civil engineer programs, like autocad , sap2000, etaps etc,

About your comment at the end of the video, if it was running win7 it would be an extraordinary pain in the butt to use with only a desktop interface which would at the high resolution of the surface screen look quite small and have icons that are hard to tap accurately. With a keyboard attachment it would be ok to use but the benefit it would have over just a normal laptop would be pretty much gone. The only good experience to be had with windows 8 is actually on devices like the surface. This is all just an opinion I do now own a surface and may be dead wrong but this is just how it seems to me

Techsource: PLEASE make a video review of a Surface Pro 3/4 running both DUAL AND TRIPLE MULTI-MONITOR SETUPS. I have yet to see a decent review of such a video. The surface pro 3/4 monitor needs to be off to support triple monitor setups from my understanding when daisy chained via DP.

Good video,but to dismiss it because it doesn't come with windows 7 is stupid. Whatever your preference, they're not going to go backwards. This will upgrade to Windows 9 anyway, so if 8.1 isn't your thing, look forward to a new release.

I've got the surface pro 3 i7 256gb.. to be honest, it's a regret on my part. There's the heat situation. IT BURNS. Not to mention a crazy fan noise. Should have kept with the i5 which has no problem with heat/fan or battery compared to the i7. Kinda feel cheated by Microsoft paying the full price ):

As a photographer, I regret having got a Macbook Air a few years ago. Terrible screen quality (colour reproduction, viewing angle, resolution), overheats quickly and in general Windows really is more versatile and easier to work with, regardless of what the glossy white advertisements tell you.
I would get a Macbook Air without hesitation because I have money to blow and I want to seem cool and hip to my peers. Performance is not a priority for me.

Yes, I run W7 on my desktop where it is the superior OS. I disagree with GOING BACKWARDS on this device in terms of user experience.
